More like 3 :air unupped, 2 :air upped, 2 :air activation. Maybe add a 'Drains 1 :air a turn' clause, like flooding, because once you have multiple out of these, there wont be any creatures on the opponents side of the field. Especially if you run mono air and damselflies.

The primary reason that I don't like the pump version of the spell is that this card is supposed to be cheap CC. If you need to gather up 30 something  :air quanta to make it comparable in power, this seriously diminishes the cheap CC aspect of the card. Also, at least how I imagined it, successive castings would deal 1 damage to everything, but would add to the number of turns left rather than throw out their damage simultaneously, stacking in the same way SoSa does.

I think this would be neat if it was like flooding and did 1 damage to non air critters each turn with a forced  :air quantum consumption ... then dies if you can't pay it!

Great idea .But i think when you play the card you must give 2  :air if it is unnuped and 1  :air if it is upped.

the ability cost should be 3.Currently,almost all ability costs for creatures are +1 than there standalone version.

Alternatively, we can buff the current version by making it damage 3 to all airborne creatures.It will give some air to air synergy to mono wings decks.

I personally think it should do 2 or 3 damage to airborne creatures and just 1 to the rest. I mean, it would synchronise and just, well, make sense right? You fly higher you get hit heavier. Just my 2 cents.

While I don't agree with the suggested buff, this card is UP. Compare to RoF (assuming RoF is balanced)

RoF = 1 card + 7 :fire
3Tstorms = 3 cards + 6 :air

You would need 2 extra cards to save just 1 quanta.

If we assume by OT's estimate that 1 card is worth 2 :underworld,

RoF = 9 :underworld
3Tstorms = 12 :underworld

I honestly think this card does need a serious buff, but I also think this should still be a spell. I like this idea floating around of 3 to airborne, but what about maybe 1 damage per 20  :air ?

Proposal: Thunderstorm does either 1 or 2 (50% of each) damage to each creature.

Tstorm now does average of 1.5 damage per turn.

RoF = 1 card + 7 :fire = 9 :underworld
2Tstorms = 2 cards + 4 :air = 8 :underworld

RoF(U) = 1 card + 5 :fire = 7 :underworld
2Tstorms = 2 cards + 2 :air = 4 :underworld

This seems to make it better than RoF. Perhaps a different ratio than 50%?
