Keep it as is I say.  It's one of our newest cards, so perhaps this should have worked this out before releasing it--now it seem surprised it's not a perfect card.   It has massive hp and now they want massive attack growth too?  The comparison with lava golem seems to neglect the fact that the golem is very vulnerable early on--something this card never has a problem with.
Bring back Holy Cow!

Ehh, it seems fine as is to me, 8 or 15 hp is a TON, making it able to survive virtually any CC and it grows at a fast enough rate.  It might not be the best card in the game, but its nowhere close to the worst.

I think it should get a attack buff, to stand up against Lava Golem. Could you please add that option?
Okay, that's it. That's the 2nd person confused by my +charges thing. I clarified the option.
I'm not talking about +charges. I'm talking about it starting with maybe 1|8 or 2|8 for the un-upgraded version, and maybe 2|15 or 3|15 for the upgraded one.

A fun (although perhaps hard to encode) option should be :

 :fire :fire Gain + 4 counters.
Usable more than once in a turn, but for each time you use this ability you get 10% it breaks (destroyed) (or perhaps 10% * number of time you had used it, should be tested).

It's like a steam machine in cowboys films : you can pump it by putting more coal, but at some time it will break...

Another fun option :
When it dies it "transforms" into Fog shield (or Unstable gas)....

An interesting idea, but is a  :fire/ :water deck going to have use for that  :air?

Edit:  Nevermind.  Did a little research, and splashing-in some Shockwaves mixed with freezing would be an interesting combo.  And Unstable Gas isn't SO expensive that it wouldn't be castable (especially since Steam Machine is clearly more friendly in longer games).

Hp doesn't help a rush deck, except in the case of a Rage Potion. However, Rage potion still does not let it surpass Lava Golem.

That was me, when people got into an argument over whether steam was air or water. So I suggested that as a compromise.

That was me, when people got into an argument over whether steam was air or water. So I suggested that as a compromise.
It's a nice idea. :) Fire-air and water-air already have some synergistic cards - this would help a lot.

I actually thought that was what happened when it was still in development, and it lost 1 damage each turn. (I thought it was pwnage back then :P)
