ive experimented with a vampiric dragon deck using dark dragons and plate armors before. It works sort of well.

Huh, the upped is just great. The unupped is the problem IMO. +3 hp doesn't seem to be enough in many cases, and you'll need too many to synergize with ragepot. A 2x change from upped to unupped can be too much sometimes... Pl0x add to the poll the option "buff hp increase/cost".

yeh unupped is a bit worse than heavy armour  but still either of the two work very well with rage potion/elixir as pointed out by idiot. this card has no requirements to be buffed in my opinion

I'd say improve Health bonus by 1 for each. I was thinking of doing that only to unupped, but then upped doesn't look as good as it does now. MY second deck was an Oty deck, my main cards were Otys and Armors.  so, i don't know. A minor buff at best.

I find the unupped version useless. A ragepotion combo would be risky because you are spending 3 cards to get 1 creature. A creature that can be hid with just one control card, shutting down the 3 cards you spent on that creature. Plated sparks are not worth their cost. For a cost of two draws and one quantum you get a three-attack creature. I find one draw to be significantly more valuable than one quantum, but a plated spark does not have more attack than a frog, which has less cost when you factor in the cost of a draw. Plated scarabs not only involves a trio but needs many scarabs and the right opponent in order to be effective. Slow and risky. Plated otyughs are useless against many opponents, thus, very risky.

Also, plate armor is inferior to blessing. While two quantum can be worth three attack points (like with frogs), blessing is most effective when used on diving creatures or ones with the vampire ability. This nets them an increased damage of 6 instead of just 3. 6 attack is clearly worth more than 2 quantum.

I think plate armor should either increase health or attack by one.

I shouldn't even have to explain anyone. This is easily one of the most underpowered cards in the game. I mean, does anyone actually use it?

I believe the defense boost should be largely increased.

Good point, I think a buff to +6 unupped and +8 upped would be enough for now. I find it hard to predict how powerfull it will be since that's quite alot of HP.
The combo with Overdrive/Rage Pot or low HP creatures is currently very unstable and.... well, non existant.

Maybe it could stay the same and give a creature one turn of quintessence/invincibility when played? This would open up some more possibilities instead of just an HP boost. Another idea would be to grant the target creature Spell Immunity. It can steal be eaten by Otyughs, infected, inflated, sniped etcetc. but would be immune to Lightning/RoF/Shockwave etc.

Eh, 9-health Otys for 2 cards and 5 quanta? It's definitely counterable but in no ways helpful to the metagame. It just improves already-strong cards cards and decks like Firestall, Flying Titans, Graboid, Fractal, Poison, RT, and Discord while making it even harder to run the already less common decks lacking damage based CC resistance.

Heavy Armor is already balanced in Scarabows, which are occasionally used in CL. Plate Armor is underpowered, but this is not how it should be buffed. I recommend +1hp for the unupped version and no change for the upped version.
