It only prevents the prevent of 1 draw (yeah, I worded that right). I don't see how that's so good. the next RT they use WILL make you draw a pharaoh, and if you're not using  :time, you can't send it out. If they RT a recluse, at least you get a Recluse back in your hand next turn which you could then use if you so chose. I agree that the transformation into a pharaoh is a bad thing if you're not planning on utilizing it.

And? if your opponent want you to draw a pharao it must use 2 cards to "kill" your mummy. I never seen anyone using twice RT on mummy.

So basically you're saying that it is good because you could put three mummies in your deck to make them use up 6 RTs? This card is perfectly fine as is, and more usable than Skeleton (turns into random creature upon RT) because it can actually do some damage to the opponent.

Mummies can be used as:
the 7th to 12th strongest mid-range attackers in a mono-death deck.
a creature that beats reverse time*

no buff.

*compare:

recluse:
opponent has two Rewinds, you have two Recluse
You lose 2 draws and 12 damage (6 damage for two turns)

mummy:
opponent has two rewinds, you have two Mummies
You lose no draws and 4 damage
or you lose one draw and 5 damage per turn until the end of the game

Each draw is another card to use. This is a good thing.

1 RT vs Recluse: You lose 1 draw and 3 :death
1 RT vs Mummy: You lose 3 atk
2 RT vs Recluse: You lose 2 draws, 6 :death and 6 damage
2 RT vs Mummy: You lose 1 draw and 5 atk
What could you have drawn with Mummy vs Recluse? Lets assume a Mummy
1 RT vs Recluse: You lose 1 draw and 3 :death
1 RT vs Mummy: You draw a mummy, pay 4 :death and gain 3atk
2 RT vs Recluse: You lose 2 draws, 6 :death and 6 damage
2 RT vs Mummy: You draw a mummy, pay 4 :death, lose 1 draw and lose 5 damage
So:
1RT: 3 :death vs 4 :death and gain 3 atk (Mummy suffers less)
2RT: 6 :death + 6 damage vs 4 :death + 5 damage (Mummy suffers less)

Uh...no. YOU don't get it at all. Everyone else got what I was trying to say. We're ALL saying that mummies don't need a buff, just all have different reasons. If you want to argue mummy's use, make a new topic. That's not what this one is for.

Since apparently you're all to dense to understand usnig mummies as pharaos as opposed to fake recluses, all of your "arguments" (even though we already agree on the subject at hand) are moot to me.

I use mummies for pharaohs, AND I wouldn't lose 5 damage per turn until the end of the game if someone RT'd me twice. I'd lose 6 or 7  :time, which would suck, but I'd get over it. I'd lose 8 damage for 1 turn (since I have to wait an extra turn to summon the first Scarab). But I digress...I'm not the only person who uses mummies for this purpose, it's a very valid strategy and works quite well. If you have a problem, get over it. Keep using your recluses, accept mummies for how they are, and stop arguing over silly stuff.

Note to self: Never question someone else otherwise they get worked up about it.

I was simply proving that they do not need a buff, since three mummies cancels out 6 RTs, assuming they would use it twice. Just settle down...

I just wanted to point out, tiamats4esgares, that contrary to how "Everyone else got what [you were] trying to say," I have no clue what you're saying now.

I interpreted your post on October 18th to mean that using Mummies without Time quanta isn't as good as using Flesh Recluses without Time quanta when you're up against Reverse Time, which would mean that Mummy would need a buff. I could not interpret anything from the same post to suggest that you don't think Mummies need a buff. From what I can tell, Iman00b8's post was a valid response, taking the situation you described and proving how Mummies are better than Flesh Recluses when you're against Reverse Time, even if you have no Time quanta.

Elite Mummy (and Mummy) need a buff, but not the one you said.

When hit with RT, they should lose poison, frozen, and another other status condition. They are going back in time to before they were mummies. Their attack and defense change to a fixed number to show this. Wouldn't it make sense that they wouldn't have been poisoned, frozen, etc. in the past when they go back?

Elite Mummy is fine, guys. 5|3 for 3  :death is a good deal - just because the Recluse is even better doesn't mean it is UP. Is RoL UP, because it isn't as good as Damselfly?

I don't think that mummy really needs a buff but this is a very minor buff and I think that it is totally logic to implement this in the game.

does this mean skeletons should also have this minor buff?

it's basically the same thing, right?
