I know this has already been brought up before however that was 4 years ago and a lot has changed since then. I don't relive the old topic since I think that the arguments back then was for a totally different meta and is irrelevant for today. Okay well the reason I think this needs a buff is

• I hardly see anyone use it.
• It's powers compared to other cards like time hourglass and sob is up.
• The decks that can use it right now is to slow and get easily out rushed.

I believe that the main problem is because the cards ability is 1 to much these days. By reducing it's ability cost by 1 you could make this card splash-able in snovas and it would be much easier to make deck based around it and power more than 1 mindgate at the time.

I don't think a play cost decrease would help very much since you want to use the ability at least every turn and get it played a turn earlier aren't as important as the ability to power it.

You apparently don't play much Gold Arena... Lately this card shows up in Oraclebows like cancer.
It certainly does not need a buff.

Arena is not what the game is balanced around though. Have you seen any real mindgate decks in any competitive pvp decks? I don't recall any, so do share if you have some.

My version of 'the deck' uses 3 mindgates. It uses them well. Stall then Kill the opponent using his own cards. Although, it's hardly a deck based around them though...

Yup thats true, I haven't played gold for months. However I hardly see this in pvp events and other things and I don't think this would be a huge buff for the arena bows. Don't know though haven't seen them.

I made a deck with it ... on which every thing is based on luck.. maybe I will post it on the forum after some modifications.

Well, rainbow stalls of all kind (arena or non-arena) can use Mindgates to a great effect.
Anyway, it is true there is not any reason to keep its playing cost so high and it should indeed be reduced by 2.
However, since its ability can be REALLY powerful (gaining two and three times your opponent's deck) I think its cost should definitely NOT be reduced. At worst, you pay 2 to see your opponent's next card and filling your hand with a card (slighly countering Ghostmare and Sobra strategies) which is not bad at all if you have any quanta to spare.
