The card is statiscally UP, so it needs a buff anyway, regardless of method. How about giving it the ability to remove Weapon Abilities as well?

I would say add something to it, since it'd be a little much to change the In Develepment cards, and several that have already been implemented into the game. I was thinking make it like Antimatter, with the ability to remove or RESTORE an ability.

Electric shock can restart a heart, why shouldn't it be able to do the same for an ability  :P

Activation Cost of 2 quanta is standard for weapons (1 is +1, 3 is -1)

Also the problem is the dilution of uniqueness not its internal balance.

I believe Lobotomy is a surgery involving cutting lobes of the brain to deal with brain problems. I don't think there's any electric shock involved (correct me if i'm wrong).
So now i understand that it would fit thematically to restore an ability, however, technically that doesn't fit with what zblader said about removing weapon's abilities, but this is elements and i like the idea of lobo-ing weapons.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Note: It's UP by Theory. there's nothing wrong with the theory (as far as i know), but my point is that theories are not absolute. There are exceptions

Personally, I think it's a pretty cool idea. It would be unique to aether (bar perhaps reverse time), and it would only be powerful in pretty unique situations. A little boost, and would make quick lobotomy (the new spells) semi-useless. Putting the old master back on it's throne.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. I was reffering to the upped version, Electrocutor. To be perfectly honest I had no idea what Lobotomy was.  :P

OK, now I'm confused  ??? The upped version is called ELECTROCUTOR. Please tell me electric shock is involved there, otherwise I am in terrible need of an education  ;)

Just one way that I can think of it to make it different with other cards that has lobotomize ability: Make it able to remove immortality.  ;D
My idealized elements cycle:
Water -> Fire -> Air -> Earth -> Lightning -> Metal -> Light -> Darkness -> Wood -> Water
