Probably should, but this way fits the flavor of the card better. How can you "attack" something flying? Also serves to show some split between air and earth. Also, the question goes, if you can't attack airborne creatures, how can you guard them? Maybe instead of "guarding", the warden is just playing cards with the creature. That way both of them are delayed for a turn.

Because it's too far to attak them, but can prevent the birds (airbone creatures) to come close to him.

why people complain about not attacking airborne? it does delay the creature and in this case delay is distract, if it start attacking airborne, it will make the game less fun to play, they are already annoying so...

Personally, I hardly feel this needs a buff. It is a good domin type card, meaning it is something you would generally like to use in a fast deck, also one that gets really good if used with buffs, altough my personal opinion is that then the deck would lose effectiveness.

You guard the creature, halt it's movement for one turn. You don't pluck the wings out. And it wouldn't kill them unless it is buffed by another card anyway.

I agree. This card is very good. It's use is maybe not obvious but it can do a lot of things. For example, it can prevent your dragon from attacking your opponent when he is under the protection of SoSac or avoid your antimattered destroyer to heal him otherwise. I personally love the card as it is.

I agree. This card is very good. It's use is maybe not obvious but it can do a lot of things. For example, it can prevent your dragon from attacking your opponent when he is under the protection of SoSac or avoid your antimattered destroyer to heal him otherwise. I personally love the card as it is.
