dont get me wrong, i understand -1 cost is pretty standard. i just cant count the number of times ROL hope ends up with 6 , and i feel like only costing 6 would be to strong for an immaterial x DR shield. a simple +1 DR on the other hand is strong enough to be an upgrade, while weak enough that its not OP.

Most upgraded decks are at least a turn faster than unupped.

I voted for no buff. Hope can be extremely powerful -locking entire decks out of damage- and I'd rather see the unupgraded get +1 cost, makes the upgraded more useful, too!

Voted for -1 cost keeping the +1 DR. The argument is totally logical.

There is a large difference between 2 and 3 DR. There is much less difference between 8 and 9 DR.

I agree that a 6 upped Hope without the +1DR would be a wise change.

In non-fractal decks, it can be really helpful.

FFQ deck has lots of FFs to fuel Hope, so it is excluded. Mitosis is slow, good luck making one.

Luciferin decks...  I also agree with keeping the upped +1 DR and lowering the cost to 7 (same with unupped).

This. Luciferin/Hope can be splashed in any element except Aether, or Air. The others all have a non-dragon vanilla creature to use.

(Life Rush Hope, btw, is awesome)

Ah, yes, Luciferin works too. In that case, -1 cost and the DR is arguably situational.
If, like mentioned, it is used on FFQ deck, then 1+2+3 = 6 = out in 3 turns (instead of 4). But in Luci decks, Fractal decks, the cost does not make that big of a difference.

It's also interesting to see that both -1 cost and +1 DR buff (compared to unupped) are tied.
