No.. there are many cards in the game and some are more useful than others. Its very difficult to make all cards usable, and this card has a decent effect and attack for its cost, stronger than ROL. Something has to be done to help these cards, but theyre not underpowered; people just don't have a use for its ability yet.

I don't actually mean it is underpowered. The topic says: ''Does it need a buff?'' And I believe it does need a buff, even if the creature ends up more expensive and with an ability. In other words, ''buffing'' does not equal ''overpowering.''

I think people just like all the possibilities, the ability to play with different strategies in a deck. If a card cannot really be used, this is frustrating and something counter intuitive. It would have been better if the card had not been there at all...

The difference in using this unit is so small, I don't think it is fundamental or needed for any strategy. If I used 6 pillars and 6 gnome finders or just 12 pillars, what does it matter? I do some tiny added damage and I risk losing ''6 pillar units.'' The difference between a stone tower and a gemfinder is quite significant in fact. If you play the tower you have a quant in your hand right away.

So, maybe there is no way to use it. ROL has hope and that makes it VERY strong. It can almost shut down an earth deck in fact. How do I use the gnomes to shut down a light or an air deck?
Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.
