I want to say it is fine as is, and Life simply needs another underdog way to get a decent amount of creatures. Alpha Wolf is just right for the way it works. While SoG is nice, it is such a flat number (and also requires Life Mark, so no non-Life Mark splash). SoG is just quicker to get to the nice 5, whereas Bond needs to set up the field to get a good number, but that is really the nature of rarity, given that both are theoretically balanced.
