I dont like that idea at all. I think if anything, it weakens the card. With a cost raise, it cant be used with duo elements, especially not trio, and with much testing, the best thing this card has going for it, seems to be adrenaline +momentum. This would make that drastically harder, and for what? the ability of it to act like a chryasora? I personally dont like it. But thats just my humble opinion.

Hmm, I think 2 summon and 2 ability would work fine in this regard. The ability would then be a bonus, optional ability if you decide to lean more towards quanta.

Yeah, that would work.
It basically means then you have the ability to do up to 3 poison damage per turn, but if you are heavy on the other elements, you don't need to.

2 summon I could live with, but even with the ability, I think nerfing the cost would be a big hit to this card. I still like the explode on death thing, but that idea I dont mind as long as the cost doesnt take a hit. Having to wait a turn to use the ability still means that deathstalker could still possibly only get 1 good hit in before dieing. Maybe I just like poison on death cause it was my idea though...

Do people really think this card is underused? I see it all the time in PVP2. And I run into it sometimes in T50 too, I think. I don't think it's as good as the other two scorpions, but do they all have to be equal? All the dragons certainly aren't. I don't think every card that gets made should be stuck into every deck you see. I see way more Deathstalkers than, say, Gargoyle, or Fate Egg, or Anubis, and people certainly use those. It isn't like no one is using the Deathstalker.

It has situations where it is effective, and some people choose to use it. It seems like a perfect implementation of a new card to me. I think I might be in the minority thinking that every new card does not need to bring drastically different strategies to the table, though. I wouldn't mind new ability-less creatures being created, but I don't think that's gonna happen either.

I think it's fine the way it is, but it looks like that's not the most popular opinion

How about it having 1 attack(when upped) , aplying 1 poison on succesfull attack and add1 whenever a creature dies?

That would make it fit the death theme well and makes the upped version useable right of the start

I like this idea. It fits  's theme for benefiting from death.
