Deathstalker got its cost reduced to 2
. After more testing this card in live enviroment, there are games where I'd take this card over some other cards -> practically ONLY in stall vs stall deck.
Now lets see... This card requires combo. As there are 4 types of buff for this card, you have to go duo with one of those 4 elements. I wouldnt usually mind this, its okay to have some cards that require predefined combos to work, but... the effect just seems weak. 2 poison is not really wow, especially when considered how vulnerable 2 card combos are to control.
In comparison to other scorpions:
Forest + Adrenaline combo does 2 poison, and its cards are in the same element, and you dont really NEED that combo; scorpion applies poison out of the box.
Dune requires combo like Deathstalker, but you only really need ONE application of its poison. As long as Purify is the only counter to poison, you dont have to care about your Dune Scorpios being CCed after he does its thing.
Overall, we can say Deathstalker has its uses. I just find it weak, and
wrong that DEATH scorpion is so weak in applying poison. Maybe I'm biased a bit here, but IMO it should hurt when
applies poison, much more than when
or
or
applies poison.
is a home element of poison.
I'd vote for it to apply 3 poison per hit, and leave it to require combo to hit.
If Adrenaline is the problem after 3 poison counter (which I really doubt; 3 cards from 3 elements to setup), then just dont make it possible to apply more poison I guess.
