Am I the only one who thinks it would be awesome if someone used cloak to circumvent tournament rules? It's totally in-theme for darkness, and if you can keep a chain of cloaks up all game to hide your nefarious deck, more power to you. If your cloak chain drops for any reason, you're going to drop the game. Seems fair to me :D

Then just ban Cloak. You use one, you lose for using illegal card.

I think an important Cloak buff is to make it immune to mass CC spells (Thunderstorm, Rain of Fire etc.) as long as it is Enchanted/Protected. I find it pretty annoying to use EA/PA on your Cloak only to be destroyed by a Rain of Fire no matter what.

It also adds a strategical use, as not seing that someone played certain cards can change the game.
The more information is hidden the more players it will deceive. However it is hard(impossible?) to deceive everyone. Also hiding the quanta pools would be required to deceive me for more than a turn.

This would be nice thematically, but it would simply throw forum-organized PvP out the window.

Why? Deckbuilding restrictions. Hiding everything under Cloaks would enable cheating (e.g. using illegal decks and getting away with it).
Suppose Spectator Mode reveals the cards played from the hand. Then people would just open up another window in Spectator Mode while they're playing PvP matches to get around the fact that they can't see the cards being played.
Suppose Spectator Mode doesn't reveal them. Then the risk of cheating becomes lower and some people might be more compelled to cheat, knowing that they aren't as likely to be busted for it.
Suppose there were a special Spectator Mode for Organizers that reveals the cards being played under the Cloak. Then we get a conflict of interest if that person is in a different event where they're a player instead of an organizer.

Is this one change worth the trouble it would cause? I don't really think so.

Or we could just have Cloak banned for EVERY. SINGLE. EVENT. EVER. But that's lame :\

I thought it was a great idea until I read this D: I hadn't really thought about it like that, but it makes a lot of sense. But how would someone go upon cheating if their hand, field, and quanta is hidden for 3 turns?

it could also hide your quanta consumption, number of cards in your hand and make you untargetable!

I'm agree with the fact that cloak could hide your quantas. This make you just untargetable by Black Hole, Devourer and Discord, but I think cloak need a little push.

Who Play Cloak instead of Steal in a Rainbow? Who just play Cloak? I've got about 20 decks upgraded, I just play one for the fun in a cremation deck, to preserve my Ruby Drakes (of what lol? Rain of Fire? Pande? Thunderstorm? Dessication?...)

Lots of people. Permanent control is not a high priority in a lot of decks. Protection is more important.

On tournament issues: Why not enable seeing your opponents deck after the game? Or give a replay (similar in form to decks, just comma separate turns. Would need some notation for procs)?

Both of those changes would be nice beyond Tournament utility
