Give it a passive ability that increases its attack when flooding is active.

Blue Crawler has the same attack and HP as "Horned Frog" from life element but it is one cost higher. I believe is should only cost 2 water quanta like the "Horned Frog" from life element.

Anyone agree?

Objectively, you are absolutely right. The problem is, no unit looks good when compared to the frog. Life is cheap, but it is a completely ''passive'' element. It has no PC and the only CC is the spine carapace, which is arguably not the best since you re usually dead at the same time the enemy units die. Life only has rush and healing. It is not totally objective, but I think it was meant as a balancing factor.

The graviton mercenary is absolutely worse off, so if any unit needs help it is this one. It has defence, but no one uses a unit wit this low attack. Even the mummy is better.

Based on the other units, I say it is not that bad. The crawler is a bit more expensive, but a tough critter that can draw some CC.

This is a rather poor card. It has no ability, just three health (easy to kill), and as high a cost as damage. Compare it to...
Horned Frog - Same stats but higher cost
Phase Spider - Same cost but less damage for one more health (not worth it because very little does exactly 2 damage)
Mummy - Same HP, 2 less damage but only 1 lower cost
Cockatrice - Same cost, less damage, less HP

Agreed, needs a buff. I vote 4|3 stats for the same cost (useful, but still worse than the cockatrice).

However, I think the graviton merc could use a buff more.

Life automatically gets 1|1 for free, that must be considered. This is because of the complete lack of CC and PC. Blue Crawler would definetly look better with 4|3, though..

Well, I just noticed after Rootranger posted the card the difference between upped and unupped is quite substantial.. simply doubles the stats for 1 more  :water. Didn't realize that.

4/3 is not that unreasonable. But then the grav mercenary also still needs a buff :P

And remember to post the card in the OP... It is just inviting confusion like this.

It's Blue Crawler | Abyss Crawler.

No buff needed | No nerf needed.

Since i prefer cards with abilities i would add something like "immune to poison" to blue crawler maybe abyss too.

i think it's worth having the blue crawler for what it upgrades to. you have no need to buff the the smaller version. if you did then the upgrade would not seem as good as it is. and then if you buffed the upgraded version to balance it out then the abyss crawler would be just too strong. no buff required in my opinion. also about the no skill thing i know it's not much but at least it can avoid flood/inundation.

You've got to be kidding me. You are neglecting a badly needed buff because the card's upgrade? Besides, even with a buff to the blue crawler (say, + 1 damage) the abyss crawler would still be a great card. It would improve far more than most dragons. If you don't want this card buffed you really need a better reason.
