Two real nailbiters. The first game I played turn 2 FFQ but he denied my :life quanta. I only managed to get two Fireflies out who powered out a very late Hope Shield. It was a close race between my FFQs + Fireflies vs. his Fog and his (unupgraded) Arsenic. In the end I managed to beat him by one turn thanks to double Shockwave to the dome. :D
The second I had two quick Sky Dragons, but no Blitz. He had a Sky Dragon of his own which he LS'ed, but I Shockwaved it as soon as it was down to 4 HP. His next Dragon got double-Shockwaved. After that he was out of gas and my Dragons broke through his Fog Shield.
Since this was our last encounter, I'd like to say that I had a lot of fun with all of our games and you were a great opponent, Mormegil. Good luck for your future matches!

I expected a dim shield or wings deck, since that owns so hard vs :earth. He brought fractal golems instead wich owned me. Game went on slowly as I got some sancs and a shield out, but I couldn't survive in the end. 0-1

I expected a dim shield or wings deck again... But I got surprised again when I saw he PU'ed a dragon. This time I brought more miracles though, and them + sancs + SS'es was enough to keep me alive. He did have a few chances of getting a kill but either didn't draw a PU on time or I top-decked a miracle or SS. Deck out win. 1-1

I had a deflagration deck prepared, but right when I was going to make my choice, I switched to a graboid deck I used before. What a sad panda I was when I saw he had a deck-out deck this time. I got an insane draw with some very fast graboids and decided to rush. I feared lightnings but went on all-out rush anyway, he got 6 aether quanta and a shield just in time to stop me. Luckily he only got 3 out of his 6 shields, so after a few SS heals, his shield chain stopped. I unburrowed and smashed his HP down to 0.
Great games Root! I would have liked using more original fun decks but really didn't wanna lose in the second-last match of Budokan round 1! You're a great player and it was fun fighting you!

Round 1: Firemastereaterthingies :D. Scared of Ragepots caused me to wait to play my lone charger till I could fractal. In the end, it came to me having enough quanta.
Round 2: Pharaoh Chimera! Too bad he didn't see a pharaoh till late. I didn't have a charger in hand, so had to wait. Accumulated quanta, dropped 6 chargers, then kept playing. Good draw, completely dominated. Mediocre draw, usual lost. Bad draw, I have a great chance.
Good games TStar! Glad we could get these in.

They're legal. Pillars and pends count as "other" as far as limits go, but not requirements. That means you can pack 10 aether pillars, 6 fire cards and 14 fire pillars.

Well, I pulled a lot of lies this time. Truth is I played the first game out seriously to make my folding credible, then I held back on playing things in game 2 and 3. I had 4 Fractals in hand last game. x)

this time i got a good hand with enough quanta and all important cards but shield.
in the end it was impossible for him to win cause oty eats everything below the shield and my pulvy + eq control his permas

Expected Frogtal, but still quite effective against his adrenastaves. First game RNG screwed me over by not giving me any emerald pillars until I was already almost dead. Second game he forfeited when I was easily killing his stuff and out healing damage.

When I won the second game I knew he would try to outdeck me, so I changed up my strategy into a whole new Firestall. He forfeited, but I had enough for a OTK.
I felt kind of cheap having such strength of fire and him having such limited with aether and air, but goog game nonetheless. Hey, at least it ended my bad luck streak.

strategic loss is semi strategic
The only real thing I coulda done is used mitodragons, and that is highly iffy
EDIT: Shit, why didn't I use mito dragons, it might have worked (6 blue, 6 green dragons, 6 mito and I'd have been golden and maybe 15 air pillars!

I had a chance to deck him out, but the pulvy and the EQ ruined me(now that i check the cards i see it falls short of the 33% rule for 2-3 cards, but i lost anyway).
I should have used an UG deck, or maybe a flying glory deck.
