- Rounds are best out of 3.

Used the same deck both times:
Seeing Entropy, I immediately knew my best deck choice. I made like 7 decks before I figured that I had entropy, which then the obvious choice came. Jangoo knew what it was as soon as he saw the Entropy mark.
Game 1: Fairly uneventful, turn 2 discord meant his quanta was everywhere. BHing when I had the quanta, he never had the quanta to do what he wanted till the last turn. He got a flying titan out his last turn and cost me an EM :(
Game 2: Much, much harder. 4/5 pillar start, and a 3rd turn discord for me meant he was able to get a flying accel titan out before I could lock down. Became a damage race, my 1 dragon+elite charger vs his acceling titan. He eventually GPs it, although if he had had the quanta/GP earlier on he would of won. Momentum'd charger+weapon>GP, and I was able to win by 1 turn.
Good games Jangoo. (So this is what it feels like to play more than one Budo match every two rounds)

What I didn't prepare for was a flying (not able to steal anything) EE. The game wasn't fast but in the end he outdamaged me with some shriekers, EE, gnomes vs my gnome, shrieker, LS'ed Golem.

I expected him to take that as a sign from me I'd change decks. This didn't work out. We desynched once and in the match after that we both got a bad draw. His was worse then mine though. I got some golems out pretty quickly and ended the match with 2 LS'ed dragons vs a field full of Gnomes. Those gnomes managed to stall the game for quite a while as he PA'ed a diamon shield and SS'ed quite a few times. Took long, but once he ran out of SS, I won.

I was thinking about adding some skullshields or maybe Bonewall + a surprise plague. But in the end I decided to go for aflatoxin + tit shield. I wanted something more original so I tried this. I had a great draw this time. 3rd turn Poison + Arsenic + Golem. The match was over pretty quickly, as I started drawing shriekers and more poison. He managed to destroy my Arsenic at 9 poison, stall a bit with SS'es, but he couldn't stall long enough for a win.
Great games Kaker! I'm glad I finally managed to beat you. Going 0-3 vs you and bunny would have been depressing. I'm also glad Squad 2 probably won't finish Stage 1 of Budokan yet!

Sniping vs. Liquid Steals
Seeing a darkness mark, I expected Steals, so I didn't play my shield :(
My quite late Eye was instantly flown and forced Jappert to burrow his shrieker. It went pretty tight in the end, but I won.
2nd match: Loss
Fractal-whatever you get to fractal. vs. Liquid Steals
Perfect hand would have ripped jappert apart without much of a chance. --> Timeout :'(
Worst hand ev0r with 1 pend and 4 Fractals in hand gave Jappert a slow but sure win.
3rd match: Loss
Mono Earth Stall vs. Poison rush
Pretty slow start for me, but it was enough to hold my ground for a while. His creatures were BB'ed, his Arse Smashed (gnihihi) but having not enough Quantum for my only 2 SS I saw was a problem, so I was overrun.
Looking back, I might have been able to stall a while longer by smashing his pillars, but it wouldn't have mattered. I dindn't expect him to use a Poison Rush instead of a Poison Stall.

Ralouf's deck is great, it gets around shields and has the impressive speed of recluse, but I am surprised that we had not built a counter deck or a stall or whatnot

I use this for both reason :
I test it a lot and it is very fast and can kill while opponent play shield.
I prefer control deck but without purify its almost impossible so I play this.
Anyway this event is boring me... see yah in round 50 !

Luckily I killed his dragon and began playing more creatures to take down his shield. After playing multiple Abominations and dragons, I destroyed his shield and started attacking his health. He got a second shield up, but I had too many creatures for it to be effective. I had around 18 health when I won.

Close games, but luck wasn't on my side.... again.....
Game 1 - Win
Wasn't really afraid of his death mark because I could antimatter my own scorps to give them pseudo-momentum. In the end it was a close win, but it didn't matter because Legit's deck was illegal
Game 2 - Loss
Won the coin toss, had a strong hand. Got excited. Then I found out Legit wasn't actually in. Second try, bad hand loss of coin toss. Blowout.
I really wish I didn't have to play discord/bh just once :-(
Game 3 - Loss
So I was determined to not lose to just discord. Guess who had the same thought, and didn't play discord?
Forgot to bring in the upgrades and it cost me.
Won the toss, set up quickly. Had a comfortable lead, but then legit grew out of discord's range and drew threat after threat. If Legit hadn't had a demon the turn he did, I actually might've had it. End game if I had drawn a dragon instead of all shields I would've closed the deal, but I couldn't. 5 of the last 10 cards in my deck were dragons.
All in all, it came to the entropic nature of the deck and I didn't have it :-/ I'll win a budo match eventually.

Match 1, What Lurks in the Shadows:
Had an awaful lot of Pillars, no Vamps but Dragons showed up, and even though they were rewinded I was able to replay them. In came my Vamps and kept me alive against his three Dragons. 1-0
Match 2, Colourful Agony:
This deck was tuned against his mono-darkness, and that was exactly what I played. Had three SN in turn 2 and started up the control. I had both a Dragon and Shrieker when Discord hit the board and sealed the match for me. 2-0

:D Discord, finally a chance to unleash the pwnage, I drew a discord pretty late, but he didn't have any Dim Shields, so all was well
I unleased a fairly large horde
I didn't have this deck prepared either, but I made it in the minute between matches, just to counter adrenafrogs, in retrospect, fireshield could have done that, and better
R2, fairly awesome hand, I had enough quanta, 3 frogs, a RP, all 3 heals! and a staff
This matchup was probably in favor of willng3 (75/100, he would winf), but RNG picked me

this was a deck i designed on another round (against xdude) wich didnt saw action so i took the chance to test how good it works in a real match ... it worked well just the momentum of his titan (given to his crusaders as well) was quite bad for my strategie XD
round 2 & 3 : win
this deck crossed my mind while i was searching for anything i could do with aether (besides frac rol or dims)
its realy fun to play and still quite efective
on a side note we both had real terible draws on all rounds :))

My Titans were somewhere in the last six cards in my deck (lost with 7, Mindgate confirmed that my next draw was not a Titan). Lost with 5 Saders on the field. I was hoping I would see that AW-Bless-Longbow-Sader deck chrissi was sporting in earlier rounds, but apparently the threat of Gravity Shield convinced him otherwise.
Endnote: I'm just glad I didn't meet three certain decks that would have steamrollered me. Good games and decks from chrissi.

Game 1:
I drew four pillars/ pend to start, but only toadfish for my first four critters. I played toadfish as fast as I could, but RR lightninged all four of them. I then played an abyss crawler and another toadfish … toadfish got lightninged, abyss crawler got frozen by ice bolt. RR dropped a physalia, but I waited ... if he fractalled physalia, I would drop ermafrost; if he fractalled abyss crawlers, I would drop grav shield. RR fractalled my abyss crawler, so I dropped a grav shield. Ice dragon, toadfish finished it off (I had chimera in hand for good measure).
Game 2:
I wanted to try a speculative denial deck (i.e., last-minute ugly deck) here, since most of his possible strategies (fractal, OTK, etc.) required lots of quanta. He got a fail draw and was able to rewind one devourer and kill another, but i was able to burrow one. Eventually, I finally drew some water quanta production and played a poseidon. I tsunami'd most of his pillars before a 2 :water ice bolt froze my weapon. In the mean time, my permafrost FINALLY froze one of his attackers, I DL'd another, played both my purifies to stay above his damage and played ice dragons for the kill.

Game 1
I noticed the Death Aide and decided to play it safe and go for Stall Faster. His first 3 Creatures were Lava Golems and I had 1 Fire Bolt for each, as well as a Fahren starting the damage off slowly. I played a Phoenix to match his Phoenix and a 2nd Fahren after he deflagged the first. Another Phoenix for each of us, I Bolted his 3rd Phoenix as soon as it hit to ensure he wouldn't be able to draw another and creature while my slightly slower damage finished him off. On a side note, I forgot to upgrade 6 cards. At least I still won!
Game 2
Ah what the heck, back to Fractix! He was a Fire Mark, seemed to be doing something similar to what I did game 1. I had about as good a hand as I could ask for, 2 MP's, a Fractal, 2 Immo's, my lone Tower and another Pillar. Drew another Pillar right of the bat and set myself up for a 4th turn Fractal. Silence the next turn, just for the heck of it. Not much his Fahren and lone Phoenix could do to stand up to my army!

It was looking good for me from the start when rng gave Genuinous a bad starting hand and me a decent one. I won the first game easily. The second round was a stall of, but he had the larger stall so i gave him the win. The last game was a rematch of the first two decks with Genuinous getting another bad draw from rng pulling 6 fractals into his hand as of such he couldnt do the damage he wanted. Good game Genuinous

After we had this match, I had breakfast and got pulled into something different. I then proceeded to completely forget about our duel. I would like to apologize once more to all of Squad 3 (as well as 10 men) for my failures, and I may leave the event so that someone more competent can take my place.
