I have a bunch of WC games to do and am fairly busy this weekend, but does this mean that if I have the opportunity to play dd I should take it? Are subs allowed?

Although we're going into round 2 with 12 ups on 6 players, the catch is we've only got Air and Light to back up our main element. As a Life player, I'm licking my lips at this (probably one of the first times Life has ever been an advantage compared to other elements), but I imagine that selection of elements will be a little harder for the rest of the team to deal with.

Not sure about you guys, but if you want to aim to permanent champion and not for a team win, having a team that does bad is certainly better.  :P
6-2 is not that unbalanced, if it were let's say a 8-0 yes, I would say it's unbalanced too.

Does permanent champion do anything for you if your team doesn't do well? I thought it was just one squad that advances to the finals? Or is it just the champions at that time?

The permanent champions advance anyway, other players from elements with permanent champions are eliminated.
