why no rule "you can only use your own mark?!" i dont get some of those rules...

for the any elements rule, so we can use all 12 elements except from opponent?

1. This would be really unfair for some elements.

2. Yes.

Game 1: Loss

Wanted to start strong and hopefully unexpected.  Would have worked pretty well I think, except I didn't draw a disco until 16 cards left.  I still had a chance to outdamage him, but only 2/7 creatures when I died, with 14 cards left.  Also, this apparently only had 9 ups.  Obviously why it lost.

Game 2: Loss

Great prediction by spielkind.  I had a 2 quanta start, was one quanta short of overdriving his first nymph, and lost handily.  He just outrushed me and nothing I could do.

Game 3: Win

Deck import code : [Select]

Because I could no longer fling titans at him, I predicted freezes or dims, adrenachargers beats both.  Plus guards for super awesome adrenasynergy.  Despite an early adrenacharger, He still almost caught up, and would probably have won if he held his silence for one turn longer (when I was planning on playing my next adrenacharger combo).  Won by a turn.

Game 4: Win

Was trying to stay effective incase RT, and this does a pretty damn good job at it.  He had a poison deck with 2 early soras and an arse, but I had drawn 4 guards, and was able to duck the turn after his arse hit the table.  With that, vagger just helped secure it.  He bolted me down, and got me to 11 hp (may not have been this game, but was one of them).  He had 10 hp left at the end, and I just used a nightmare on his empty hand.

Game 5: Win

Started with a bad hand of 2 bone pillars for my only quanta.  Eventually drew a gravy pend, but I only had the quanta for 1 gpull (on his conveniently summoned dragon) and 1 guard on the final turn.  Didn't matter though, as pro mummies beat him down (had like 4 of em), and 2 timely bonewalls.

Game 6: Win

Love this deck, cuz it's my idea, and not stolen from the forum :P.  He had toadfish and an eagles eye, but my sundial were able to hold out.  Of course, it helped that my starting hand had 1 pillar, 3 pends, and 2 HG XD.  Drew magios early, so just had to wait for quanta, which came.  Won with an extra sundial in hand.

I had an early steal for the first shield, and found most of my creatures in the top half of the deck. Adrenalined Psion helped a lot. We both made a play mistake or two, too.

Dunes lost against RoL/Hope, wat? Ok, it had 6 sanctuaries quite early, and discarded a unstoppable or 2, which lead me to be little damage short in the end.

His Devtal had a perfect draw, with early fractal, early eclipse, early steal, while I had no HG, but still came 1 dial short.

At this points I thought I was out, but Pella said me it's Bo7 and not Bo5, I was pretty happy, but I prepared only 5 decks so had to speedbuild at least twice. There comes my comeback.

Ggs Pella, a very good match!

Typical Calindu Grabbow.  Outrushed me, bigtime.

This one went down to the wire.  His Dune Scorps + Momentum were the hard counter to my RoL/Hope.  My Sancs were the only thing keeping me alive.  Then he started a Sundial chain.  I started discarding.  It looked like I might deck him out until he hit me with another scorp.  When he had one card left, I was able to Fractal my Golden Dragon and OTK him.  Whew!

His PDials had me worried.  Then he ran out of Dials.

At this point my opponent thought the match was over.  I wish it had been.  I reminded him that it's a best-of-7, and suddenly he was extremely happy.  That was a clue.  :(

Pandemonium got me.  He got me down to 2HP, and he had a lone 3atk Scarab on the board.  *sigh*

(Me + Fractix) + (Calindu + Dischole) + Me making a mistake and not taking out his first Discord when I could have = no chance.

At this point, I felt everything slipping away.

Since I had established a pattern of rushing, I went for what I hoped would be unexpected--a stall.  It didn't work.  He Fire-rushed me, and that was that.  I had the Master of Entropy, playing Entropy, up against the ropes, and he beat me, anyway.  I always knew I was a failure at PvP, and this proves it.  Oh, well.

hm, dont wanna spam that thread, but participating in an event all time has some experience for players. so you played an illegal deck, me would give you only some hint for your deckbuilding... not building deck self is ok, not checking is meh, but if you dont wanna get some experience for the next time, i dont wanna force you to.  :P

I always knew I was a failure at PvP, and this proves it.  Oh, well.

Pella just bcause you lost here doesn't make you a failure at pvp you just nearly knocked out Calindu in pvp that is decent, considering the fact you got this far with your least favourite element your constant belief you suck at pvp is wrong you became permachamp by winning four games when you couldn't afford to lose one yes me a mall helped you out a bit but in the end it came down to you and you came out on top for most of it. That is a well played event in my opinion so stop taking that away from yourself.

Sorry Squad 1, I was our last player left. I tried but I couldn't keep us in it.

And thus the Boltbow makes a return! I wonder why you were afraid of Calindu, of all people, running a 60 card stall?

Also, I think one of you has mixed up games 4 and 5 in your description.

And thumbs up for the Adrenastaff/EE duo!

Afdarenty 4 - 1 Laxadarap

Good games, Laxa, you're definitely a fun person to play against :) Wouldn't surprise me at all if you end up winning the next Budokan. A big helping of RNG helped me through this.

I guess I was up against fractal, but only one gravity pend to start with (along with two aether pillars) meant I never saw it. Three poison reasonably early meant I could hit past the dims pretty well, and Laxa never really got any damage out.

Stupidly close game. An early blitz would have made this easy, but two otys appeared before it did and ate a wyrm and a dragon. Sniped them, eventually drew three big hitters, and played them. Laxa miracles and plays double oty. Blitzing two turns in a row meant I got an exact-damage win a turn before Laxa would have taken control of the game, largely thanks to Laxa only drawing one sanctuary all game.
