Anthraxx vs. Vineroz 2:3

G4 - Was expecting bolts in his RoL Hope so I didn't spam many crusaders and got overrun by fractalled stuff.
G5 - Counted on seing RoL Hope again, but aether dragons popped up. Was ugly, but EE, animate, 2 x blessing, 3 x endow was too much to cover with miracles in the end.

Game 1: All 4 titans hide in the last 12 cards. Anthraxx managed to kill me with a lone Morning Star while stalling with Wings, Sancs and Miracles.
Game 2: You can't get that bad RNG for 2 consecutive games, so yeah. It worked out as a rush and outrush the chrysaora deck.
Game 3: Reckon he will try to counter my titan deck now, RoL/Hope is a safe choice. He got early EE to snipe down a few of my RoL's, but the Fractals are coming in suitable times to keep my Hope high.
Game 4: Despite his slow EE, my Phase Dragons are simply slower once he got an EE flying with a ton of blessings. Could be close though.
Game 5: I have a rather good hand to start with. A 2nd turn golem, timely EQs, Vader combo and outrush him.

Squad 1 still has hope to win in this round.
TIME is around us. It flows silently, trying to take everything away from us.

(Squad 1) jippy99 3-2 ralouf (Squad 2)
These games just keep getting better and better.

Not getting discords sucks.  Ralouf easily beat me.
0-1

Game 2
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]

I dug up my Quanta Be Gone deck from Round 5 and changed it around a bit.  Ralouf didn't get much quanta to start, and it was all gone quickly.  I had a few spiders and my arsenic within a few turns and ralouf's dials were too late.
1-1

Game 3
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52h 52h 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 542 542 542 710 713 713 713 713 713 713 72i 72i 72i 8pk

I went with a straight death rush here.  The big difference in this game was the 1 HL ralouf used.  Other than that, we basically had mirror draws and he beat me by a turn.
1-2

Game 4
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52h 52h 52o 52o 52o 52t 52t 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 713 713 713 713 713 8pk

I went back to discords, except without the BHs here.  I got my discord out early enough that I was able to scramble ralouf's quanta for a bit.  Ralouf finally drew a sanc and an arsenic, and I had multiple creatures out.  Although his plagues and skull shield slowed me considerably, I managed to power through.
2-2

Game 5
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52q 52q 52r 52r 52r 52r 52r 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 710 710 710 718 718 718 718 718 718 71a 8pu

I was almost sure that ralouf was going to come back with his HL rush deck and he did.  I thought that I should avoid the damage of the HLs and break out bonebolt to kill his not so numerous creatures.  I opened with little quanta and 4 lightnings.  I started piling up my poison and lightning'd a few of his creatures.  We both had arsenics out and he put an occasional creature out that I killed.  We both got our bonewalls out at around 50 hp, except ralouf had 10 poison, while I only had five.  I was able to finish him off a few turns later with a poison and 2 lightnings.
3-2

Great games ralouf, it is always a pleasure.

:life match:

swishyscoop - 3
vagman13 - 1

I started out with dimspam, as there wasn't much he could do about it. I was up against adrenastaves, got an early mitosing dragon and started chaining. We desynced, but I beat his AI and he lost to mine. 1-0

Game 2 (loss)

I expected vagman to play poison next, and poison it was. It should have been a good counter, however the combination of drawing only 1 charger in the first half of my deck and heal spam at the other end meant I got out-damaged. 1-1

Game 3 (win)

I was sort of expecting more scorpions for this match, but was up against adrenastaves with deadly poisons. I got a reasonably early carapace out, so that with a RoF quickly killed the one staff he managed to get out. Even still, it was very close, as I didn't draw much :life generation and didn't get a mitosis until the last turn. I just managed to stay alive with 3 frogs and 2 bonds against 12 poison counters and won. 2-1

Game 4 (win)

I was expecting the same deck as before, as vagman had alluded that he'd gotten a terrible draw. So I tried speedbuilding a reasonable counter to it. Despite forgetting 2 of my upgrades and facing up against a completely different deck, it seemed to be quite effective. I gravy pulled all his mitosing frogs, and though an early thorn carapace made things a bit hairy, I threw enough amphibians at him to seal the deal. 3-1

Thank you very much for the games vagman, it has been a pleasure :)

10 men - dracomageat 3:0

First deck:

Against mono Entropy rush - I had a 4 pillar start while he made a turn 2 discord. With my good quanta production the Discord effect wore of quickly, and after firing double-Panda at his two Abominations I played a Purple Nymph. His deck did not have any CC so she was able to take the game over in short order.

Second and Third:

The second game, he played Time/Entropy with Dune Scorpions, but did not draw a Scorp for a very long Time. That allowed me to outrace him pretty effortlessly despite my draw being somewhat subpar too.
Third game he played a conventional Entropy Time rush with RTs and I got a great draw with turn 1 Arsenic and Fog Shield. His deck was too slow again.

Pleasant games as usual draco. :)

Nice to hear I'm pleasant to play against but I wish I was actually good at something, y'know?
Anyway, posted this in the wrong topic:

First round I figured I'd play it safe and take a more or less standard mono not made by me. It died to a single Nymph.

So I decided I'd play my metophorical trump card a little early. This deck should have won it for me but I didn't draw the scorpion for ages. Still, it was closer than I expected t that point.

And this was just poor judgement on my part. I mean, really, who takes RT against Physalias? Why would anyone take Discord against a Novabow? Why play something as slow as dragons against poison? I was dumb. I didn't stand a chance.
