(Squad 1) jippy99 3-1 srm359 (Squad 3)

Game 1:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52h 52h 52h 52h 52h 52h 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 542 542 542 542 542 542 710 710 710 72i 72i 72i 8pk

I combined my fears of wings and EQ into a deck that countered both.  Huge quanta draw for me allowed my creatures to come out fast, and srm just couldn't catch up.
1-0

Game 2:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52g 52g 52q 52q 542 542 61q 61q 61q 61q 622 622 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 711 711 71b 71b 71b 71b 8pk

Thinking that the large pilar/pend split would scare him away from EQs, I went with a Bonebolt Fractal Dragon deck.  He brought EQs, but my high death quanta start allowed me to get a dragon and an arsenic out.  For a little while it was bone wall against bone wall, until I drew my second dragon and lightning'd one of his spiders.  His EQs did little harm to me once I had the dragons out.
2-0

Game 3:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52i 52i 52i 52i 52i 52i 52n 52n 52n 52n 52n 52n 52s 52s 52s 52s 52s 52u 542 542 542 542 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 710 710 710 72i 72i 72i 8pn

I went with a lulzy deck here that just didn't work.  Nothing much to explain.
2-1

Game 4:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52h 52h 52h 52h 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 710 710 710 72i 72i 72i 8ps

Because he just used flying weapons and I was afraid of them, I decided to toss some RTs into my dragon/mummy rush.  He showed up with a water deck, and I had a decent draw, getting a mummy out on the second turn and a dragon soon after.  Srm then started to use plague, killing my mummy and lowering the health of my dragon while his spiders and poison kept attacking.  I played my second dragon and smartly RT'd my poison'd dragon the turn before it was going to die, ensuring the win.
3-1

Good games Srm, they were entertaining.  I enjoyed playing against you and hope we meet again sometime soon.  Big thanks to bogtro for helping build some of these decks.

Should have had the win :/

Countered correctly, but bonebolt still did me in.

Almost pulled a monorush thinking he would use time. I was right about time, but I still used a different deck.
Probably should have cut this down a bit. Never drew an Ice Shield.

Thanks a ton RNG! You are the sweetest...

Game 1: His deck was illegal (unknowingly used a deck from last round), but he had a horrible draw with no novas for his graboids.  I beat him down in 8 turns pretty easily.

Game 3: He failed horribly speedbuilding a discord, nightmare, and devourer deck???  Attributed to being awake at 1 A.M. :(  Delayed his discord from 1st turn to maybe 4th? and adrenaguards beat him down.

Game 2: Despite having 13 pends, he only drew one in opening draw, got a second one 3 turns in.  Luckily, my mono was overquanta'd (it was actually my dishole counter) and I beat him down easily as well.  We desynched as he had 44 hp and I had 88, and I played 2 more chargers in the 2 turns afterwards, his ai didn't have a chance.

Against Discord rush splash RTs - He had fast Discord while I had not a whole lot of pillars and his RTs helped vs my AM and Nymphs. It may have turned out differently if my double Chaos Seed had taken down his dragon (instead did GPull + Poison), but as it was he pressured me too much to lock him down. (Loss)

Vs Life rush with Adrenaline - This time good draw for me while he was very slow. I got a Nymph out quickly and AM'd it when he played Maxwell so it was untargetable for him. From there I had an easy match. (Win)

Against PU dragons - I had a quick start with Physalia Lycans Fire Eaters and Hax Shield, which was simply too fast for him.

Thank you for the games calindu!

Close match. Pulvy ate his pillars but his MG got me to < 20 hp cause he kept rewinding my crusaders. Glad I packed these shield, his archangel would kill me otherwise.

Terrible draw on his part. Quick win.

- Game 4 - same deck as G1
This time with decent draws but his CC and 5 pillar starting hand proved too much.

Mindgate fail... He played the same deck as the round before. I got stomped quite easily.

Game 1 (Win): Expecting gravy shield deck, and cal speed build a counter for me. He is playing peggy with a bad draw, while I had a good quanta supply and keep playing creatures. Outrushed him pretty easily.
Game 2 (Lose): Wondering if they didn't realise gravy shield blocks light :P Saw Earth mark/Gravy pillar and smiled :D then a gravy shield hit on my face sealing my fate.
Game 3 (Lose): A little mod from the most basic newbie-friendly FG grinder :D but when you get all 4 Hopes in starting with 1 pend start, you know you couldn't win anything except maybe AI0.
Game 4 (Win): Cal quickly modded my RT splash deck (game 2) into a Lightning splash deck, which is proofed to be very versatile. Anthraxx went for peggies again, and I got a great draw again. Didn't managed to bolt his second peggy, but Lightnings in hand allows me to kill him with exact damage :D
Game 5 (Win): Decide to go with the same deck as it can answer to most decks. Anthraxx ran a UG deck with a lot of sancs, which kinda slows down my attack, but I still managed to outrushed him.

Very fun games Anthraxx, thanks for the match. And special award goes to cal who build two winning decks :D
