Is it sportsman to concede the loss on an illegal deck and not allow for a rematch?

Is it sportsman to allow the opponent to fix the deck and replay?

There was a "rematch", thats why we did 4 battles, in case you decided the illegal deck would be a loss, even if he said I won. That way there was technically a rematch. Or am I not answering these questions correctly?

They were just general questions. An illegal deck is always rules a loss. So make sure you double and triple check your decks before playing.

bogtro [Squad 1] 3 - 2 ji412jo [Squad 2/Pineapple Brigade]; Darkness

Game 1 [WIN]:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
593 593 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 77j 77j 77j 7tf 7tf 7tf 8pt

Fairly simple DevEQ story - EQed his pends, kept his quanta low with Devs. He showed silence, but I only let him play one before I consistantly locked aether quanta. 1-0

Game 2 [LOSS]:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52u 52u 52u 52u 5un 5un 5un 5un 5un 5v0 5v0 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 71b 71b 7t4 7ta 7ta 7ta 8pk

Darn. Wanted to win with trials deck. Didn't work. Didn't draw either BW or Eclipse entire game, and he ended up rushing me at the end with Frogs.

Game 3 [WIN]:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
593 593 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 77j 77j 77j 7tf 7tf 7tf 8pt

Went back to DevEQ. Unfortunately he had this wacky pend split, so EQs didn't do too much. Fortunately, he didn't use upped fractals, and my ninja devs kept his aether quanta at 9 for several turns, winning.

Game 4 [DESYNC LOSS]:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4st 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5ul 5up 5up 5up 7tf 7tf 7tf 7tf 7tf 8pt

Went for hard counter to pestal, but got a pathetic opening hand. Desync on turn 2, ji had SSes showing quanta lock with only 1 gargy out. Gave him the game after some deliberation. Doubt I would have won replay anyway - should have increased light quanta production.

Game 5 [WIN]:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4st 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5up 7tb 7tf 7tf 7tf 7tf 7tf 8pt

Figured he'd continue with his fractal deck, which I finally guessed had no healing. Decided to just rush. Got a great draw, getting 3 towers and the mark in opening hand, and another pillar afterwards to negate devs. Got a drag and 2 gargys out before he fractaled devs (which, incidentally, were mine after a stupid play on my part), which he barely couldn't keep up with. Outrushed by one turn.

Moral: Train your pests well.
Years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have Obama, no hope, no cash, and no jobs.

This deck was meant to be a counter to holy flash. play 2-3 dragons, then silence for 2-3 turns and win.
But he played EQ devs, and got many devs early that stole all the quanta i needed.

Game 2 , 3 , 4 , 5

This deck simply was my best option. pestal, frogs in case of sancs, and frogs are not weak to holy flash.
game 2: I outrushed him, we both got pretty bad draws but his was worse.
game 3: He first complained about bad luck, when actually his devs were perfect at stealing the quanta. I had only 1 life pend all game long, never could play frogs.
game 4: I had quanta lock early, nothing he could do. There was desync but thats all explained in his post.
game 5: He got 4 towers out in round 1. I got pestal out fairly quickly, but he already had 6 towers out at that point, and he still managed playing his creatures. Meanwhile, my no life pend draw at all didnt let me fractal frogs. Still ended by 1 turn.

GGs bogtro.

Zero entropy, 1 time pillar, /game.

- Game 2 - Same deck
Pissed that my fav. deck failed. Retry. Finally a good draw, fast eternity. He played fractal w/ archangel and cockatrice. It was down to 1 round, but miracle/dial chain managed to deck him out at the end. Lucky, I'd say, well played mesa.

Derp derp deck, but hey, I've lost to these before... Perfect opening hand, 3 RoLs. Quick dragons followed. 4 miracles stalled the game until I had 4 cards left, but then he ran out of them. Quite close. I was lucky he didn't draw sanctuaries till the last turn.

Deck made to counter pegasus rush and pegasus rush it was. Nuff said.

mesaprotector (Pineapple Brigade) 1 vs Anthraxx (Squad 3) 3

Good games Anthraxx.

Momentum rush again. A so-so draw wasn't enough to slow the damage, in part because his draw was even worse.

Game 2 (Loss):

An early Eternity started drawlocking me, so I held off on the Cockatrices for as long as possible and discarded Hopes and 2 Fractals, leaving me with only 2 more in the deck. I immediately luci'd after the first fractal (misclicked and only four of the cockatrices started glowing, but I doubt it would have mattered) He antimattered a bunch of my cockatrices, but he used all six pretty quickly, so I played my angels and used my last fractal on them. I thought I had him, but he threw up 2 last-minute sundials, just enough to deck me out.

Game 3 (Loss):

Seriously, RNG? Seriously? The one time I take a deckout is the one time he plays a deck that has any chance of beating this deck. Even so, and despite my not-good draw (took forever to get either a sanctuary or any water quanta at all), it was close. A topdecked miracle would have still won it for me, but alas, it was not to be.

Rush with a little CC, I was resigned when I saw eternity again.  Ah well. Didn't really seem that close even though I got him down to 37 HP.
