Bidding process for Brawl #5Rules involving bidding have changed from previous Brawls, so here's a fancy new sticky for you all to feast your eyes on.
Time until bidding ends:
BIDDING IS ENDEDJust before the bidding time starts, Brawlmasters will divide applicants into the different roles to ensure sufficient people have applied. Ranking a role higher will make you more likely to be put into it. They can also prevent players from applying for certain roles. The roles will be restricted only in the case it is absolutely necessary to make all players fit into their desired roles.
Auction proceedings can be viewed in the following spoiler, or
here. Bosses have been provided a link by which they can make their bids.
Bosses have 42 points to spend in the players. They can bid as many points as they like for each player. If a player has that boss's team listed as a preferred boss, the boss will be refunded one point
at the beginning of round 1.
Each participant will have roles defined by the list under this post. By default, each player will have one role, but players who opted to have more than 1 role maximum will be placed in more.
If the player already has a bid, the new bid must be equal or higher to the last one.
In the end of the bidding process, the players stay in the team whose boss offered more points. In case there is a tie, the player will stay in the team he or she chooses between the tied teams.
Although players have been divided up into roles, that
doesn't stop Bosses from bidding on who they want. It's
highly recommended that Bosses bid on players who, in total, cover every Role. But don't let that stop you from getting a monopoly on Artists and failing every other task.
If there are players with no bids by the end of the auction, Brawlmasters will place them in the teams with less than 6 members, according to their desired roles for a cost of 1 point per player.
At the end of the auction, there will be an overtime of ~12 hours after the last bid.
The teams will start Brawl #5 with the remaining points from the Auction. And now, the roles!
Applicants have been given one of the roles from their application. The order that the roles were listed in have been assumed to be order of preference, except where specified otherwise. Where an applicant has not specified the maximum number of roles they are willing to take, it has been assumed to be 1. Any conditional requirements and obvious preferences have also been taken into account.
We've tried our best to give you your favourite role or your second favourite role.
But obviously these role-lists are now just
guidelines, unlike previous Brawls.
