Interlude As our heroes proudly march, stroll, walk or slither into Aurdinas, eyes full of the greed for glory, it is time for us to look back at the country from whence they came. With their ruler gone, what fate has befallen their people? Are the temporary replacements trustworthy? Is the government secure? Are the armies strong enough to defend the land, even with so many off them travelling in foreign places? Perhaps things aren't going quite as smoothly as the absent leader intended. Or perhaps they are. Who knows. Read Brawl Rules All submissions must be made by making a new topic in your team's private board with the title: [ROUND X] ROLE(S) For example '[ROUND 1] Enchanter'

Civil War (Or Not, Depending) | COMBO TASKCrusader: Create a deck that represents your country's government! Create a deck that represents your country's people! Royalty: Which of the two would beat the other? What consequences might that have, should the situation arise? Charting The Territory | BASIC TASKMake a map of your country! You may include as much or as little detail as you like, and it doesn't have to be a geographical map if you don't want to! A New Threat | BASIC TASKWhile the King/Queen and his/her army has gone to slay the dragon, something new has shown up. Make a card that depicts something dangerous that is causing problems to your country... Falmer Blood Elixir | BASIC TASKA Scribe who chose not to go on the quest to Aurdinas is a little short on money. Write a pitch to attempt to scam the public into buying something! Way of Life | BASIC TASKThe temporary ruler of the kingdom hasn't looked at the required reading material! Explain to this silly person the basics of your homeland's culture and/or history.

Bonus Task (Rounds 3 and 4) The Royal Court Tell us about your Royal Court! Points you could cover: Is your King/Queen popular with the people? Has your Bard written any good songs? Is your Crusader a weathered veteran or a shiny-armored poster boy? What's the biggest sword your Enchanter has enchanted? Has your Scribe written for anyone famous? What's your Wizard's greatest achievement? Submissions recieve a winning task's worth of points. Winner recieves twice that amount! Deadline: Round #4 deadline.

* Every submission in general must remain PG-13, non-Scribe submissions have a max limit of 1000 words (except if noted otherwise) and every submission must absolutely not exceed the length of a single private message (65535 characters).

Crusader: You may have a limited selection of themes to pick from, but at least you're in familiar territory this time Gimme decks that exaggerate the personality of what they're supposed to represent.

Royalty: Be imaginative, but set realistic context. The task assumes that the public has uprisen against the government. Why would this happen? Could it actually happen in your country?

Bard: I'm looking for style over anything else. If you're doing a more modern map, detail is a must. Medieval map, and you'd get away with a lot less precise. Of course, there are many other kinds of maps, and not all are used for navigation.

Enchanter: You've been subjected to Creature cards for the past few rounds and I'd like to see something new. It's very easy to tell me that a Godzilla has appeared from somewhere and is wrecking the place.

Scribe: Manipulate me. Make me want to buy what you're selling. If you have a degree in behavioural economics now would be the time let it free.

Wizard: I want to know more about your country! If you don't have any ideas, I'm sure your Boss is more than willing to help. The more consistent it is with what's already been established in previous tasks, the better.

Does the scribe task have to be a physical object that you can buy? Or can it be a contest of sorts?

I'm going to disagree with you on that one

While initially it may feel that way, the Wizard task is very much a Forum Expert task - this time based in the cultural aspects of the forum. As such submissions may wish to focus on the content of the message being delivered to the temporary ruler rather than the message or the ruler themselves. Or maybe not! It's all up to you

As always feel free to assign either task to any role/player, and feel free to interpret the tasks however you like.
