Also i'd like to ask other teams how much trouble they had with inactivity.

According to my experience, inactivity is always an issue at Forum Brawl but you can deal with it by doing the submissions of inactive people.

I would like to step up to the mic here and applaud all the TTG members for activity levels higher than I have ever seen first-hand in any team comp/event/game on ETG.

I have NEVER ever been the lurkiest, AWOL-iest, and lowest-producing member on a team before. I'll admit my activity level was its lowest ever for just me compared to me but throughout the event I never totally missed a round but each member of TTG blew me out of the water.

TL;DR - TTG had zero issues with activity levels unless I can be labeled as under-active.

Unless Andre is on your team, the amount of points you earn in forum brawl is directly proportional to your activity.

If Andre is on your team, just put him in a basement and feed him carrots or something while you go on vacation.

Everybody is biased towards their own tastes and opinions. That's why we have voters, instead of just BMs. More separate biases tends toward the median. Though, more voters would have been nice-- I think the strong theme might have intimidated casual voters due to them not being able to get all the background/context in a quick way.

I have quite a particular sense of humour and twist on tasks. In my first brawl Naesala without realising chose every task i wrote as her BM bonus points, even ones i did for other team members without claiming ownership. Point is it's not uncommon for a voter to enjoy submissions written in a certain style.
I know from experience linkcat is not someone to shirk his own opinion for any reason. He's the last person I'd accuse of bias, and in earlier rounds i seem to remember disagreeing with his decisions, but he's very much his own man.

Yes it is.
Each story went in slightly different directions and covered slightly different things. Effort put in is secondary to the actual content.
Neither story is better than the other in every way, because neither trys to do everything the other does.

I've seen in chat that andre has modified The Tentacle's Grip's submission for the first Bonus Task, presumably to be used as the reward icon for Brawl 6. F.R.O.G.S. made the best icon, as judged by the Voter's Panel. I will be very disappointed if we get a repeat of Brawl 4 where the last placed team has their accomplishment thrown aside.
