Royalty/Wizard: TG and S7 have cards that whose gameplay actually feels like a “trap”, and TG has the clearly best writing among all teams in this task. FROGS and S7 have similarly competent writing, so FROGS will receive 3 points, and S7 2 for the slight edge.
Voints: TG 10, FROGS 3, S7 2
Bard/Enchanter: Wow! TG and FROGS have truly amazing art and an easily guaranteed 5s for that side of the coin. S7’s card creates an extremely-unfun lock, and is the best hate card for fractal ever printed (but is in-element with fractal, and thus fails to expand balance). Night Carrier (FROGS) is slightly too transparently doing what it is doing, which leaves TG and PC getting the 5 voints for the card design.
Voints: TG 10, FROGS 5, PC 5
Crusader: PC have an incomplete description, and the only one of the four decks not to be a life-based combo deck with Survival Trait. I think the fairest way to handle this is to dock the points from PC for lacking description and distribute the remainder 3-3-3-1, as the Survival Trait decks are close enough in quality and concept to not have earned point differentiation.
Scribe: TG’s report made me literally cackle out loud more than once during reading it, well done! TG caps off the round with another five voints from me! S7 has the next best description, with FROGS and PC both feeling interesting but leaving me with a feeling that there just wasn’t enough there.
Voints: TG 5, S7 3, FROGS 1, PC 1
