Well, music. While I do not believe that this osng is nearly as good as the rushing river, it is still very well executed. I also loved FROGS little gif, it made me laugh . Pyrocloaks' image is also very beautiful. Good work from all teams here.

Spoiler for Bard:

TTG: eh. I see this one as trying to do too much again. It is very well done, however, and would still receive a few points from me. FROGS: I see the ghosts. I do not see how it is scary or why it scares your bard. Perhaps a bit more description would have helped. Pyrocloaks : I think this is a perfect pixel art use. This drawing is amazing. Props.

TTG: I'd have to give points for originality, considering all other teams went for AM. Also tying element to deck, makes it great. I do not see however how this deck could win other than deckout. Pyrocloaks: Having both antimatter and other forms of CC seems counterintuitive. You either want to pacify with the goblins, or kill them. Doing both makes no sense to me. FROGS: The same comment as TTG, deckout is the only win condition. Not that it is bad in and of itself, but I dislike it personally.

Frogs: I put the task in wordcounttool. It counts 1009 words. Rules explicitly say that non-scribe tasks cannot be over 1000 words. Pyrocloaks : I would have liked a more concise explanation of what hte game is. Say I'm a lazy person, and I am, and do not wish to go through the whole text, a tl;dr could have been added. TTG: Here my english may be at fault, but I do not understand the game. At all.

Interesting how different sites gives different word counts. I guess we'll just have to wait for brawlmasters to tell us which tool they use.

For what it's worth, my copy of microsoft word puts it at 999.

My reading over here is 977.

I agree and would also like to know this. Would the Brawlmasters be able to post where they go to count the official word count for the non-scribe tasks so all teams can be using the same counter?

It's done on the spreadsheet. The formula is pretty simple, so it's probably more lenient than other online tools. As such, so long as it's less than 1000 on whatever word count you choose to use, it's probably fine. If need be, we can switch to something more testable.

Speaking only for myself, I don't mind if a submission goes *a little* over the limit, in my head it's more of a guideline. However, should the situation arise, I'll discuss with Fippe and we'll make a decision on a case by case basis.

In this case, though, it's fine.

That's just my personal opinion. Should a submission exceed 1000 words, Fippe and I will discuss and reach an official conclusion. So long as you're all careful we shouldn't need to do that

Incidentally, which checker were you using to give the value of 1009 words?

To FROGS and S7, I would suggest that you read what the task is asking you to do more carefully.

Task says depict your team travelling through the unique landscape, not depict the unique landscape your team travels through.
If that's not what you meant, I would suggest that you write what the task is asking us to do more carefully.
And while we're at it, that's the sort of comment I find insulting. Implying we can't read.
