Boss/CD: ATNTMake good representations, balanced card, nice deck… wait, why is this not a DB task?
FHM: The representations are a bit off (i.e. who? What? Why?). The card is a mix of wat cards and OP cards, which does not make it balanced. The stall is also a bad The Deck, for one of the players.
I liked the rainbow theme tho. Nice mechanic. Just, give it less card advantage.
TC: At first the cards seemed like a totally OP bunch for a totally OP deck, but they are pretty decent. UT is a bit slow and will not redraw the perm immediately, giving the opponent chances to win. Andre having draw was a nice touch. I dislike how you diss Ops tho, at least give him something!
AB: Upon seeing JCJ, my first thought was 'Crazy, but in a god way.' Just like my thoughts on the person JCJ!
Majofa is pretty strong tho, as a perm. Krzy and Fippe seem alright as they are slot-fixed. Love kirby's design.
Deck is unique. And slow. These decks are too slow to rate -yawn-
LS: OP Cards. At least, insanely strong ones. Not fun enough to counteract that.
ATNT: I like the cards. They don't seem to be forced for the stall or for synergy. This ofco makes the stall kinda bad, but that's alright.
GP: The cards represent the members very well. Rob's card is awesome. Discord's is a bit OP tho. Sky's cloak makes her too OP. The deck is not well built imo: why SNs in a stall? And why Life mark over the more expensive death?
ATNT's felt the most natural.
Artist/DB : ABInteresting decks and action-packed art please
TC: The decks are a bit bland. As is the drawing. The battle is not drawn strongly enough, the participants seem distant from the battle.
GP: Please don't troll people.
AB: Nice decks.
ATNT: Aww, the spider and scorp are hugging… wait.
FHM: Nice decks. But the art is… I can't see it properly.
LoS: Nice way to do opposite decks, but no image? :O
AB: Ok, that video, was amazing. I especially loved the voice, who did that? The edge of madness tone was neat.
AB wins by far.
FE: LoSMake a it a good guide. And don't be boring, plea… zzz
TC: Not enough good stuff. The element descs are found in the start screen anyways, and the forum desc. Is lackluster. Also the pm an admin at the end is a bit of a cop-out, don't you think?
AB: Not a guide, but still too good.
ATNT: Not enough good stuff. The element descs are found in the start screen anyways, and the forum desc. Is lackluster. And I'm allowed to cop-out by copying critiques, no one's judging me! (Though I should buy out the pitchfork store just in case...)
LoS: I liked the detail. Would've liked better links for tutorials for the game, as tutorials section is all over the place.
AB was fun, but the guide was not good enough as a guide. So despite minor dryness, LoS wins.
Writer: ABNeeds to set the mood for EtG specifically. SO must be EtGy.
ATNT: Running heroes doesn't really reflect EtG at all, only a tiny part of forums. Too narrow.
LoS: I like the entire peace. It's just that the first para seems off… somehow. I think it might clear more if I read it in the morning.
AB: Great work. The lore flowed like the Civ intro, which is a great style for a game like EtG. I had a few stylistic edits, you can compare here:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=61762.msg1230993#msg1230993TC: Starts off way too boring for an intro sequence. It's not a good idea to start with the full on backstory unless you can tell the story strongly.
GP: 'You may begin now'? Really? The rest was meh, and this just kills the piece.
LoS was a great passage, but AB really made me want to narrate the thing and feel it. Great choice for the game, so my vote goes tothem.
