Naesala waves her hand slowly through the air, the Force crackling silently between her fingers and the knife she was holding. "The puns are fine." "No they aren't!" The little man's resistance of her allure shocker her so much that she fled out of the window. "Hello, Onion. I'm Zawadx. I'm your new Councillor." "o rite k" Read Brawl Rules All submissions must be made by making a new topic in your team's private board with the title: [ROUND X] ROLE(S) For example "[ROUND 1] Card Design"

Grand Debate Write a story in which an Elements Philosopher and Elements Religious Figure debate over some topic. (Note: The entire story needn't be the debate, that just must be a portion of it.) A Beautiful (or Apocalyptic) Vista Depict a landscape that one might find in Elements. Mechanic's Apprentice Create (and provide two examples of) a new card mechanic that could be applied to several new and/or pre-existing creatures. At least one example must be a new card. (personal) Story Time! Create a deck based on your own personal hero (or an event meaningful to you), and explain the connection! Antlion, Black Hole, Cloak, Dirk.... Design an Elements Alphabet! If you choose to make a new font, there's no need to convert it to a font file format (.ttf, .otf, etc) EVENT CARD! Watto's Gamble Event Card text: This round, wagers can be made up to twice as many points as standard. Toydarian's love a good gamble. Red, you get double points. Blue, you lose double. Any wager made this round can be up to twice the value!

Bonus Task 2 (Round 3&4): Something Something Star Wars! Make a tribute to Star Wars! Create a tribute to Star Wars! Can be anything Star Wars related, from cards to decks to stories, etc. You could even build a Death Star that shoots Antlions! All teams who submit will receive 5 points. Winner will receive 5 points! Deadline: Round #4 deadline. SUPER BONUS TASK (Round 1-6): Team Manga! Create an Elements-themed comic book by co-operating with your fellow Brawlers! Super Bonus Tasks are an additional type of bonus task. There will be only one this Brawl, and it starts and ends with the event. It is supposed to be a co-operative task between every Role and teammate. Your task is to produce an Elements-themed manga, comic book or graphic novel. The Boss can coordinate and help out, the Forum Expert can supply their expertise to help the team, the Writer can produce an interesting plot with captivating dialogue, the Artist can generate stunning graphics to carry the story forward. If you're going for a Yu-Gi-Oh! style comic, the Deckbuilder could make decks for the character and the Card Designer could make a card to be featured in it... but what you produce and how you distribute your workload is up to you! All teams who submit their Super Bonus Task will receive 10 points. Winner will receive 15 points! Deadline: Round #6 deadline. Spoiler for A Toadally Newtral Team VS Gaia's Pride: Stakes: 8 points "Team Road Trip!" - Organize a team road trip for your brawl team. Make an itenerary list of destinations, travel plans, and other site seeing activities you might do while picking up or meeting each person from your team. (teammates do not have to give out their locations if they don't want to, use generic locations in this case). Make travel plans for 1 week worth of Road Trip/Vacationing. Include: At least 2 different  types of transportation (personal car, bus, plane, boat) Some food from the local destinations (At least one each of Breakfast, Lunch, Supper) At least 2 tourist attractions for the team to enjoy together(Professional Sports Game, Museum, Holiday Resort) Example: Most of Team ABC's members are from North America, and a few from South America. None of them have been to Europe. The boss plans a trip to Europe for them all to meet up and go on a cruise ship sailing into different ports around Europe. They enjoy a fresh made supper at a local restaurant, and then enjoy music in the evening at a street performance. (I did not give lots of detail in example to save on potential ideas for the challenger and challengee)

* Every submission in general must remain PG-13, non-Writer submissions have a max limit of 1000 words (except if noted otherwise) and every submission must absolutely not exceed the length of a single private message (65535 characters).

Would not a new card be something like the previous task where we reinvent a vanilla creature?

Wait, isn't applying the new mechanic to an existing vanilla creature "applying to a pre-existing creature" rather than a "new card"?  So since at least one example must be a new card, only modifying pre-existing creatures would be insufficient correct? I guess I am asking is does modifying a pre-existing creature, and then applying the new card mechanic count as the "at least one new card" or merely as one of the "new and/or pre-existing creatures"? It does seem to be a gray/grey area.

Wait, isn't applying the new mechanic to an existing vanilla creature "applying to a pre-existing creature" rather than a "new card"?  So since at least one example must be a new card, only modifying pre-existing creatures would be insufficient correct? I guess I am asking is does modifying a pre-existing creature, and then applying the new card mechanic count as the "at least one new card" or merely as one of the "new and/or pre-existing creatures"? It does seem to be a gray/grey area.

The more qualities of the old card, the less likely it is to count as a new card.
This is a subjective definition, but it should be the most optimal.
