WHAT?
ALL points are refunded?
That is a decision I STRONGLY disagree with. I didn't even think there should be favourites at all in brawl, but I was going to wait until after auction, now I must speak:
a) Favourites make sense in War, where players are limited by their affinity to an ELEMENT and their card pool. Brawl has neither of these. This leads me to..
b) Favourites in Brawl, are simply a popularity contest, and mean the well known and skillful bosses get further bonuses by more players favouriting them.
c) What if nobody favourites you? you are put at a massive disadvantage for no reason, not simply because of points, but also because players will choose to join favourited teams if you bid the maximum and are matched. I am lucky that a fair amount of player have put me as a favourite, but other bosses are not so lucky.
Having ONE point refunded was bad enough. Having ALL points refunded is absolute insanity, and will create a very bad feeling for a lot of bosses.
Like I said, I was going to put in SAF to remove favouriting for future brawls, but was going to wait until this one's conclusion.
EDIT: a much better system would be to disallow a 'draw' with bidding. Have no favourites, and bosses can bid as high as they want, up to a maximum of 42 points for their whole team. This means favouritism and popularity contest aspects can be mitigated.
