I consider a redesign to look noticeably different and maintain all the elements. Ragnarok and Gravy had a noticeable difference but Gravy forgot the Otyugh.
Card Designer: [Wow. Uniquely qualified position to judge these.]
MoL:
I did plant wisdom so that makes sense(although the falling branches reminds me more of someone with a high frequency of card ideas). It is an interesting source of creatures that is not itself vulnerable to CC.
I don't see how your card related to Drake beyond the common name and the ability is rather hard to exploit.
FB:
Some notes would have been a good idea. I am not sure the intended interpretation. The interpretation I read into it fit ok.
Oldtrees seems like an interesting double pillar(Have double pillars been done before? They should have.)
Drake on the other hand seems like an expensive form a CC along the same lines as Mutation is CC. The other use of Drake seems way too inefficient.
R:
You really like new
vehicle mechanics(chaining, unique, ...) don't you Frozengaia? Honestly, they allow you to create a more detailed representation but in turn subject the card to their pros/cons. Not all vehicle mechanics are winners but it is an area where innovation makes great leaps(see Pendulums).
Chaining is an interesting workaround for the 1 active ability restriction in EtG. However, I don't think it justifies shrinking the cards potential by locking it into a trio. Unique was an interesting idea taking from other "only 1" mechanics like Legendary(only one on the field) and Legendary(only one per deck). However I have found that "only 1" mechanics rarely/never find a situation where their arbitrary restriction is needed.
RS:
Yeah Drake made a lot of cards(although not compared to some others). That is a deceptively versatile card using a rather simple ability. Very nice.
Good representation of me. The card itself has its uses and fits its role well but is not much to speak of.
GTC:
Well you got the design theory side of us down but ironically you did so with rather unbalanced cards. Balance seems pretty weak compared to other CC and buff cards. Ancient Wisdom seems rather OP although the setup costs might make it less so.
