I am correct in assuming we need to write farewell speech?

Is it allowed for the deck, when used seriously, to be able to win games semi-easily?

Say, Ghostal? Powerful deck, but it can be used to easily make yourself lose.
 Losing because you stand idle while you could kick, let's say, a FG's arse does NOT fullfill the requirements of this task. It is like creating a deck with 60 Quantum Pillars and losing to everything that can deal even the slightest of damage per turn. You don't kill yourself, the AI does it, so it doesn't fullfill the requirements. However, if you seriously* aid the AI to finish you off, then it is fair enough and within the spirit of this DB task.
*= a lot, in a way that the AI wouldn't be able to do the job of finishing you off without your aid.

The fact the card's art must be Cubist it doesn't mean it has to reach the level of Jean Metzinger's paintings. In a similar way, our Writers don't have to reach National Geographic's level of articles.

Yeah, but it's much more reasonable to assume that an amateur writer can write a decent piece of text.

I am not sure. I think expert specialists like ourselves tend to see our own area of expertise with more clarity than we see the other areas. This makes me hesitant to assume the difficulty to reach "decent" is lower/higher in those other areas relative to my own.

When I looked up cubism (with my lack of aesthetic sense) it looked like the form takes little more than painting (including everything that falls into that) and using edges to create texture (if inside an area) or lines (if at an area-area border). So soulless cubism does not seem that hard to me. Since artists do have an aesthetic sense, I expect souled cubism to be a challenge for them but not an unreasonable one.
