For those who don't get what's just been said, Ragnarok's submission is Surrealism, not abstract. That team's artwork doesn't even follow the rules for this round and I feel it would be unfair to give it votes as a result.
I never really understood the difference between those two :/
But if I got it right now, I guess the only submission that's actually abstract is the one from team Life.

Card Designer:
Life: "Ship" seems like pointless obfuscation, but it is a way to due justice to the task (I'm assuming, having not seen this shipping myself).  The ability is an interesting one, seems a bit too strong, but it's hard enough to set up the crazy combos that it shouldn't cause too much of a problem.  Lose some points for not actually being implementable in the game due to lack of multi targeting.

Uh, there's not muliti targetting on my cards:
Spoiler for Hidden:
Read that ^ It says 'random'.

(Vote for who you like - just pointing it out (: )

Voting in between cocktailtime and bedtime might have been a bad idea...  The random aspect curtails some of the more interesting combos but makes it more interesting... may reconsider placements when finish the voting.

Gravy train: Before I read the notes, I loved your card.  There is no reason whatsover (either wording wise or balance wise) to make the opponent's spells not limited to the <6 aspect.

It's because the main reason its there (the >6 rule) is if the could owner play <6 cards the main deck would be Chapuz's frenzy + Light dragon + Parallel Universe x6. The opponent probably wouldn't prepare for this card specifically by adding cards he couldn't pay for, so it seemed there was no reason to limit the opponent from using Antimatter or Parallel Universe because he could most likely play the spells anyhow. The reason it's not in the card text is because the card text is already full.

An explanation as to why this made you dislike the card seems appropriate. Just making a smaller rule not affect the opponent seems like a rash reason to decide your opinion of the card.

Elements cards have limited card space for a reason.  I've often run into problems fitting card ideas I wanted into the card box.  Those cards are too complex for EtG.  I agree with the <6 rule, I disagree with it not also affecting the opponent.  And I definitely disagree with that fact not being on the card.

Considering how "Reset the timer if you cast another copy of this card" is half the card space, and can't be condensed without talking with poor grammar, no, the card space is really tiny.

Really tiny.

I'd rather have the gist of the card up front, and leave the minute technicalities in the notes.

If you want to criticise me for that, it's certainly valid... But I just don't have the space to add it, and I don't want to use inferior grammar.

That card implies it can target players.

In fact, when I look back, thier submission is kinda badly worded. "Creature spell cards"? Is Rain of Fire a "creature spell card?" Is...
This is my attempt:

(Ragnarok's card I was referring to initally. The same criticism is leveled at it; special little effects tucked away in the notes. My argument is it can't fit...

Actually, I take that back, I can juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssssssst fit it in. But still, there is not a lot of card space, folks. Expect those notes to be used a lot. x.x)

Spoiler for Hidden:
Spoiler for BOSS:
MoL - A very original and different take on the task. It just didn't seem very recipe-ish in general, by which I mean I wouldn't be able to recreate this assuming I had the ingredients. Props to you on being unique, it just wasn't enough I'm afraid.

All the others were kind of what I was expecting. I ordered them in terms of how much elements related stuff was in the recipe, so you should be able to figure out where abouts you placed.

Spoiler for ARTIST:
MoL - A little too abstract for me. You may have put a lot of thought and effort into it, but the final product doesn't reflect it. I was a little disappointed that the lines aren't one for each element also (unless they are and I didn't notice). Also, the 42 was more of an expectation given your team, than an added bonus. Maybe I'm just not artsy enough to understand its true beauty.

Frostbite - While this is a a really good piece of art, there's just something about it that doesn't seem right. I want to like it, I really do. But for some reason it just seems... off. I don't know, and I feel really bad for not being able to tell you why I didn't vote for it.

Ragnarok - Ummm, yeah. I'm not sure what to say. Having read your description I understand what you were going for, but I really don't see how your art represents your team/ team name. Plus (as already pointed out) it's the wrong type of art.

Gravy Train - I'm willing to overlook the fact that you didn't draw a literal Gravy Train because your art is seriously amazing. There's no other way to say it, it's just really really good, and that's why you get the vote. Still disappointed about that Gravy Train though...

Spoiler for CARD DESIGNER:
MoL - I can't confirm how well your card matches its veteran, so I'll just take your word for it. The card itself feels a little to niche, it either weak CC or a weak buff. Im struggling to think of a deck that could use this effectively. The random aspect doesn't help with this, but its tricky without invoking double targeting.

Frostbite - Probably the most workable concept of the 4 for me, although I'd be surprised if it hasn't been thought of before. I think the attack is a little too high, considering 5/6 damage would insta-kill most creatures, but that could just be me. Depending on the SoFo interaction (ie. whether the damage or the +15 HP triggers first), this could either buff or counter it, and I hope it's the latter. But there are a few good uses I could think of for this card.

Ragnarok - I get that willng3 was a life master, but I don't see the link between that and this card. Other than that, this card is basically a way of doubling your damage permanently but with a lot of restrictions (or at least, that's probably the most popular way it would get used), but putting funky restrictions on isn't a good way to nerf a powerful effect. As you said, it's way too easy to just hold your damage back for two turns, and get double your creatures two turns later. The other restriction (<= 3 ATK/HP) makes sense neither thematically, nor balance-wise (ie. why does this card go from being only useful in frog rushes to being a really powerful OTK card when you upgrade it?).

Gravy Train - I thought Chapuz was the OTK guy, not the spell guy? Regardless, the effect is a little situational. I suppose you could use it to empty your opponents hand of CC, but then you run the risk of using up any spells you wanted to keep too. You could use it to use the opponents CC against their own creatures, but then they have to have CC or else the strategy wont work. You could use it to play a whole bunch of buffs on one of your creatures, but if your opponent has CC it could die and you'd lose all your cards. It depends too much on what your opponent has that you can't make a consistent strategy. Plus the cost is really high, but that's just balance.

Spoiler for DECK BUILDER:
No need to do an individual run through here. I personally was expecting a lot more Brawl Cards than we actually got. There's got to be around 100 cards created over 3 Brawls, so it shouldn't have been too hard to find a solid group of cards to work from. MoL gets the vote for being the only team to not use one of the "alternate win" cards (I personally don't like the idea, and they all seem overpowered anyway), even though Annel-tosis is far from original. (I alos guarantee there was no bias because they used one of my cards)

Spoiler for FORUM EXPERT:
It was my understanding of the task, that you were supposed to create a brand new elementscommunity.org page, such as /forum or /wiki, and not just redesign the current "hub" that we have (If the Brawlmasters correct me and I've interpreted this wrong, I apologise to all and will change my vote accordingly). Given that, I feel like only elk did the actual task that was set, but creating a brand new page. If I could've voted for Red Stars only, I would have, but the rules say I couldn't. So I found myself choosing between three submissions of the wrong task. I chose Frostbite's in the end, seeing as redesigning the Tools page is better than adding links we already have on the forum, or just a general design which adds nothing.

Spoiler for OFF TOPICKER:
General disclaimer - I know next to nothing about politics so don't expend anything profound here.

MoL - I suppose a dictatorship is still a political system, but that all feels a little dark and morbid. Our admins and staff are all lovely people, right? It feels more like a conspiracy theory than something that could actually be a reality.

Frostbite - I like this. It makes sense and I could actually see it existing (theoretically). Its simple enough to make sense but detailed enough to make something real and possible.

Ragnarok - I don't think there's enough substance in your submission. I get that you were saying a the political system is always changing, and whoever is the most powerful at one time makes all the rules, but I feel like you could have filled out on this a little more. Even if the system is always changing, there's got to be some constancy, right?

Gravy Train - If you use long words, I'm not going to understand what you're saying. Other than that, again I feel like you explained the concept but not enough of the details to fully communicate what you were saying.

Spoiler for WRITER:
Nothing much to say here, I just voted for which ever made me laugh most, and which had the best cyanide and happiness feel to it.

In Zanz we trust
