This is a thread for (and only for) commending fellow Brawlers, Bosses, and/or the Brawlmasters for Forum Brawl #4.

When I saw MegroN as an artist, I knew I wanted him in my team. MegroN is someone I knew I could trust and would not let me down, and I was not disappointed. Hard-working, always does his work, was a great teammate

I, not so subtlely, asked joe to put some favorite teams at the beginning, and there was a reason for it. I knew joe had a lot of potential, and god was I right. Sometimes he came up with the least original stuff, but most of the time his productions were well above my expectations. You have wonderful ideas, and as long as you have a 2nd opinion on what you do, I'm sure you can continue to do amazing stuff in the future.

Drippy. I liked the decks he posted in his app, I also noticed sob air rush in stats thread by him. And I kept seeing in chat how active he was. I thought why not. And once again, i was not disappointed. As with eljoemo, sometimes i feel like he brought me the worst possible ideas, but he always corrected the shot and brought us more original stuff. Thanks for being in my team.

I will be honest. I voted for zerg because I didn't think anyone would outbid on him. I ended up falling with a very active member, always there for his tasks, funny, always active to help the other members with their tasks as well. Definitely a great adding tot he team, espescially for only 1 card.

Wow. My most expensive teammate. And you know what? he would have been wortht he 10 points. Easily. This guy was always there, for everybody, for all tasks, he helped everyone, many rounds he was there for the last minute submitting. And he's a pretty nice guy who I'm honored to know.

So, after all the positive comments, here comes Scibra! To be fair, I know Scibra, i know he's had inactivity surges before. Thing is, I have him on skype and thought I could avoid his inactivity. I was wrong. So much for believing I'm God ( or a True Canadian Hero, whichever you prefer). Scibra wasn't there of brawl, at all. He showed up for religion and I'm not even sure the task we submitted was from him.

I would like to point out that before brawl The only members i knew from this team were scibra and Meg. Now, I know plenty of great members, and if we were to start again, I would pick them all again without hesitation.
Great teammates that are great addings to any team event. Definite possibilities for war.

Well, I like to think of myself as humble, so here goes:

I am what I am and do what I can do.  I had a few rounds where life simply went berserk on me (85 hour work week Round 5 - are you kidding me RL?!??!) so I cannot claim full 100% I was there for the team activity.  However, I was there any time I could carve out to be so hopefully the team considers me to have been a boss worthy to lead them...

0% participation.  I will not elaborate further as there are always reasons for unannounced absences.  I presume best-case with it just being lack of interest/time to even log in to the forum once this event started (posting of Round 1 tasks).

A busy schedule seemed to preclude Ruta giving more time to the event.  However, he was quite productive in his time given to Elements and the team.  Thank you for being a member of the team and enjoy all future Elements (and even non-Elements!) related endeavors, Ruta!

Spoiler for Deckbuilder: Odii Odsen:

The 'other Elemental Master' on this team, Odii performed quite admirably.  Early rounds were a bit sparse on participation outside of "just his task" that Round.  However, once the even tgot rolling and it was evident this team has large holes left in niche-type roles Odii stepped up huge with help doing entire other tasks besides his on his own and with prompting or nagging from teammates/boss.  Super effort Odii and glad to have you on the team.  I won't forget your contributions in the future should it be pertinent to distant events or such Elements activities!

td, it was a pleasure having you on the team.  Early rounds you gave what you could working around your school/exam workload and helped cover non-artist tasks beyond your own.  That effort is greatly appreciated and I am quite proud that we collaborated so extensively on the Religion task (it seems so long ago now).  Thanks again.

Great effort on their writer tasks where possible.  A few writer tasks had the team (and sometimes the community) wondering "wtf mate?" but you did what you could and that is appreciated.  Thanks d2d.

Team Overall:
TONS of effort was infused to the submissions we offered in this event.  A few rounds were sparse, but in general everything received the attention one could reasonably expect in 7 days time.  It was a pleasure to lead those of us that participated from the team I drafted in the Auction.  I had a blast and thank you for making it an enjoyable event.  I only hope you enjoyed serving alongside me on Death Dost Dominate and final results disregarded, I HAD FUN!!  Final result tallies are all that is left to determine if the team name was de facto or my wishful thinking!

 I would have said how hyperactive my team was, but reality prevents me to do so.
 However, I saw great potential and skill at each one of them (except for Sasuk3 who didn't make or contributed at any task at all, sorry sasuk3 ) and was really sad to see TorB leaving like that because of a misunderstanding we never really got how or when or why had happened.
 Also, I am quite dissapointed due to the lack of interest my teammates have shown at voting proccesses. Such a good opportunity to discuss and comment at our private boards went to waste...
 Other than that, I would like to thank my teammates for supporting Silver Ferns as much as real life allowed them to and I hope to see them all at Forum Brawl #4!!!

As the de facto boss of the Cuckoos I'll jump on the bandwagon.

Spoiler for Absol:

His schedule was completely incompatible with the event. The only task that he did was the NSFW one. Since he seemed pressured into the event I really don't blame him. He also has disappeared since 3 weeks ago. On the one task that he did do, he seemed to know what he was doing.

He had to leave for reasons completely outside of his control. I won't get into details since I'm not sure if he'd be confortable with it. He led the team well imo for the first 2 rounds, after which he had to leave.

Spoiler for Oa:

He explained it already, but RL prevented him from dedicating any time to the team. The fact that he won both the tasks that he actually made speaks volumes about his competence.

Spoiler for Tom:

He had good ideas, helping and winning the 2 combo tasks were he was 100% of the round. R1 and R4 had to be made on the deadline, which hurt the quality a lot. He started having internet problems and went innactive at the beggining of round 5

We got him on the end of round 5 and he managed to cover our FE task (yes, the tutorial) in just one hour. That tutorial is a fun read and you can learn a thing or 2 from it, which impressed me a lot. I contacted him for R6, but didn't really knew what task to give to him. He's active, but his internet makes him very pad-incompatible.

This guy may not be always on the top standings but I would definetelly recommend him. He is a great inspiration, posting random ideas on almost everything (some of the tasks I'm the most proud of were adaptations of his ideas). He is always there and never gives up. He keeps going on even when it is not the most sensible thing to do and was one of the reasons why I didn't gave up on round 5, after 4 entire days without having any news from any team member. I'm not sure if he realises it, but he'd make a great boss.

I don't know where to start. This guy really surprised me. He's flexible and covered the gap left by Oa and Absol masterfully. He goes and says "meh I'm not a good writer, I'll try to put something up" some 5-6h before the deadline and makes up Shafik in like 30 minutes, or sees Oa is not there and thinks about an entire event in just one hour, "just in case he actually has no submission" (which he doesn't). And then there are his decks. He never aimed for winrates, he never aimed for what he thought would please the voters, he aimed for originality and fun (try suggesting him that the decks needs shards ). Worth every single point Ops paid for him.

What I can say is that this Brawl I learned a lot:
My shading has improved a lot. I have not as horrible a grasp on how to draw a person (I still suck at it ). My knowledge about gimp has increased considerably.

I also had a bit of luck with holidays giving me the time away from work I needed to cover the tasks.

I would also like to say that all of you guys were great to work with. Also, Kaker and Spy, you are both awesome. No matter what the result of this round is, you made me proud.

Ohmy, thank you, I feel honored.
It was quite a surprise to see how many people liked my not-DB-submissions.

But weren't it for you, I would have given up a couple rounds back. Your well timed poking made me go back to the pad when I was about to lose interest (mostly due to the sudden lack of teammates). Seeing the effort you and spy put into most of the tasks in every round made me stay and finish whatever had to be done. I just couldn't let your effort go to waste or force you to do even more by being absent.

So thank you andretimpa, you were a great substitute boss, a wonderful team buddy and an amazing workhorse. Ops made a great deal there to get you for just 10 points. It was a pleasure working with you.

Also thanks to you russianspy. Even though we didn't get to meet that often in chat (stoopid time zones), it was great being in the same team with you. Coming online and seeing your suggestions and feedback on the tasks was a great help. And where you haven't written suggestions or feedback, the task was miraculously done already anyway.

As for the rest of team The Cuckoo's Nest, I think andretimpa already summed it up pretty well.
Some had to leave way too early, some stayed longer but got their internet screwed up until they left. But whatever work they did was awesome.

A great boss. Always giving feedback everywhere and pushing us in the right direction, whether we liked it or not. A lot of my good ideas came because he shot down my rubbishy ones. Did sort of procrastinate at times and leave us with half-done submissions to round of / write-up, but not often. Also (those who know Joey better might explain this), seemed to get a bit "moody" (for want of a better word) and kind of was a downer (like that one time I covered his task and he passive aggressively said I ruined our chances, then we placed 2nd for that task) but this is more than made up for with the rest of the time with his enthusiasm and general usefulness.

Excellent artist. I really do enjoy his work, he does great stuff. He didn't really help out with the team and we only got to see what he'd done on the last day before deadline. But he never missed a task and only had one late submission when he was plagued by RL issues, I believe. I also call BS on him losing that challenge. No offense andre, but Meg's was better.

This guy is the best, get him on your team next time!!! I am of course joking. I'm not saying that I am great, but I did to all my tasks to the deadline, did each as well as I probably could (except Round 3, but seriously, f*ck Round 3), covered for team mates who didn't do their tasks, helped out where I could, organized the pad, was funny, was motivating and was so damn sexy. Did I mention I'm also modest?

Yes, this was all a joke, I'll let my team judge me.

Brilliant deck builder. Always wanted to get his tasks done as soon as possible. Always tried 101 variants to see which was best. Always tested and tested. And helped out with other people's stuff. Great worker. Great personality. Great deck builder. Great guy in general.

Spoiler for theelkspeaks AKA THE GUY (or just elk):

This guy. Just amazing. As a forum expert, he really does do some awesome stuff (as current standings show). But for the first 4 rounds, he was there submitting and finishing. Round 3 when we he showed his true colours, when the whole team (myself included) had to bail hours before deadline and elk finished it off on his own. Seriously a team player. Helped out with feedback and a was a great guy to talk to, for help or just to talk to.

Spoiler for Captain Scibra AKA Captain Who?:

Was only there 50% for Round 1 and disappeared after that. I don't know why so I won't judge.

Spoiler for Zergva AKA Zerg Rush-to-do-it-all-at-the-last-minute:

All jokes aside, Zerg's a great writer. I do like his stuff and his style. As stated, he tended to do his tasks moments before deadline, but regardless his work is good. His grammar sometimes needs polishing up but that doesn't really hinder him at all. Once again, he helped out with tasks and helped with some last-minute skirmishes to get everything done. A funny guy who writes funny stuff.

Spoiler for Whispers in the Dark AKA Maybe the best team ever (Depending on whether we win):

As a team, I feel we did pretty darn well. I think we were the only team to make a submission for all tasks with only 1 late. OK so some of them were bad (like really bad) but at least we got something. I think our motivation dropped over the last few rounds, but everything got done more or less. I did really enjoy working with this team and think we worked as well as we could.

Excellent work from our excellent BMs. +Rep in both your faces. But seriously, please no more tasks, I don't think the community's sanity could take it Superb work, I'd take another Brawl right now if it were going.

I will not evaluate my team member by member as I appreciate my team almost equally. I was lucky that nobody from my team dropped out and everyone actually did his task. Yes, there were times someone, including me, could not work on his task, RL happens, but there was always someone to cover it and it was awesome. Thank you all for your great work.

We also communicated with each other pretty well, maybe except for Asymmetry, but it's a well-known case already and I don't want to elaborate on that here Most importantly he eventually did his job and he did it great.

I also wished CR had had better communication with us, but he was pretty active anyway.

Ok, I have to honor Spike because whether he knows it or not, he actually helped me bossing around. As the staff member he knew how to organize the team, maybe even better than me and I feel he was almost always there some hours before deadline, more often than me due to late night hours for me, the hottest time for us as almost all of us finished their tasks just before the deadline. He, but others at that hot time as well I believe, was always ready to help in finishing tasks or even speed doing a missing task. Special thanks for that Spike and again thank you whole team for your great work.

You all know best to what extent you contributed to doing your tasks, I personally appreciate every second you spent on Brawl which is just a forum event anyway. I assume all of you did your best , according to amount of effort and time you were able to spend, and if not, better keep it to yourselves XD.

Thank you all Teams because without you Brawl will not happen at all. Thanks for your great work, some of you are really talented and it was pleasure to look/hear/read your submissions. You're all awesome

Of course special thanks for Brawlmasters for making and hosting this. I feel sorry that it lacked participants and voters because it really deserves more attention! Unfortunately, it is true for all forum events and EtG itself, including lack of developer, but it's not a time and place for that...

And last but not least, many thanks to all who voted on my submissions and commented them, I really appreciate it! Sorry if I disappointed anyone. You know, wife>Brawl anyway But seriously, excluding the time I was absent, I really tried to do my best in all tasks I suppose. Maybe I'm just not so talented as you think ^^ (Regarding my last submission, for me being faithful to theme>originality. Maybe it was a mistake...)
