A lot of these votes are actually my second choice. I would vote for our team on several of these (especially Forum Expert in which I believe ours is the only good submission) but even if the rules allowed it, seems wrong to me.

Updated with our team taking Forum Expert by storm; we deserved it. I'm personally keeping my votes to 1 each, to keep deflation down to a minimum.

Edit: One each seems like a bad idea now. How about 1-2?

I guess this is the official thread technically, we're only encouraged to discuss our decisions in the main topic. Other teams must be voting already in their own team forums, I guess to keep from affecting other teams' voting.

The "official" voting thread is where people who are NOT Brawlers cast their votes. Brawlers, like us, have a private topic like this to cast their votes there. The Brawlmastrs were afraid that if any brawlers voted publicly, there could be a grudge against them due to butthurt opponents (pardon my expression).

You must vote for another participant (since you voted for your team only) in each category, or your voting will be considered illegal. Forum Brawl needs anything but less votes right now and illegal votes = no votes at all.

2. Team Vote
The team vote will occur much the same as the community votes, and team votes will be added to community votes for the sake of placing and score. However, team votes will occur in private threads for each team. Additionally, Brawlers must use at least one of their votes on a different team. So, a brawler could just use one vote on another team, a vote on there team and a vote on another team, or two votes on different teams, but not just a vote for their own team. Brawlers may and are encouraged to post in the public thread with their opinions on the pieces. "Strategic" voting is discouraged. Participants are encouraged to vote each round in all categories, but not required.
