And yeah, we've got to push through to the top. And there's one thing designed to help us. Well two things really: Challenges and Wagers

In this thread we'll try to select the suitable targets for our challenges/wagers. Please post your thoughts on whom you think we'd be able to defeat.

Teams

Silver Ferns: Our weakest competitor, though they can still put up a fight. They happen to go through bouts of inactivity, so they could net us a good amount of points. But they're last on the priority list to remove points from.
Cuckoo's Nest: Team filled with strong players. They're not high up on the standings right now, so I'd say leave them be for now.
DDD: Hmm, I think we can beat them if we try hard enough. They're ahed of us at the moment, so beat 'em we should
Whispers: with a 33 points lead, they're our primary targets. We want to hit their weak points and just annihalate 'em, yeah?

So yeah, also post here if you have an awesome idea for this rounds task (and so this that a wager will be good) or if you have free time (then we can create a challenge).

I have to guarantee a solid task done before I'm comfortable to wager, but I want to challenge WITD's artist to an abstract photography challenge.
I'm discarding the lightpainting one because it's too complicated and needs more stuff to be done.

The task would be: Represent one alchemy card (antimatter, aflatoxin, black hole, basilisk blood, adrenaline, rage potion, nymph's tears, bioluminiscence, unstable gas, precognition, liquid shadow or quintessence) in an abstract photography.
An abstract photo:

• Does not represent the subject in a literal way.
  Communicates primarily through form, color, and curves rather than image detail.

Is this ok?

That seems good. But gawd Asy, you can't put a concrete definition on abstract photos! I'd remove that last bit (this could lead them to coming up with a not so abstract photo, which'd give us an easy win. Basically, more work for them).

I'd like to wager against WiTD's writer (as I feel they could be beaten, and also we need to beat 'em) for round 5. My ideas:

Also another idea: Maybe we could put it in an image showing crossing out/different handwritings based on emotion. It'd make for a more diary-like feel. Thoughts? (This is what pulls the wager through, if we can manage it. Asy? It'll just take a bit of formatting and image editing)

Idea for story: Dopey Phoenix Love-story (cue sighs here)

Two phoenixes vouched to each other for their eternal love. After all, Phoenixes couldn't die, could they? But then one day, one of the phoenixes was struck with a double thunderbolt. The other then pines for his lost lover.

Emotional enough to guarantee a Wager? Or does it make you puke? Comments, please!

Tell me the personalities of your characters and i'll suggest some free fonts, no problem! Sorry to miss that. I skimmed through the thread.

I was kinda thinking of making it look like a page from an actual diary, with whatever personalization a diary might have. Could we do that?

We can add fonts as image. PNG is an image format which supports transparency, so it will just show the letters and the forum bg.
