Oh, well Im sorry and sincerely appologize if anyone took my tone the way elk did.
I didn't expect it to be taken so harshly. I was legitemently asking if her opinion was based off facts, or if it also included some perspective from what Nae thought best because, as elk pointed out, she is responsible for the success of the massive event. I certainly did mean to respect her decision in not allowing an elitist vote by stating I completely agreed with her. But thats my opinion and so is hers. I was only trying to look at it from the other perspective and arouse it in conversation to make sure of a complete and thoroughly discussed situation to leave no doubt that what the end result of having no elitist type of vote is best. Now that the opinion and judgement is made of no elitist voting I was only trying to arouse more then opinion by trying to look at only the cold hard facts of the situation. If the cold hard facts and the opinions are in sync with each other, which they usually are, then and only then can you be 100% sure that the end decision is thoroughly discussed and entirely correct. I was asking a series of questions to answer the big question of "does having an elitist vote have some merit and pro's over a non-elitist voting style?" Again, I'm sincerely sorry to all and to anyone who understood my intentions and what I said earlier the way elk did.
P.S. "...my opinion (and that of any other Brawlmaster) does matter in how we think is best to direct the event." I didn't understand why it mattered. Which is what I wanted to find out, but didn't want to sound rude by just asking "Why does your opinion matter?" to only hear "Because I'm a brawlmaster." Elk just had said it's because she is the one responsible for the success of the massive event. That's why it matters. So thank you.
To me opinions should never matter unless trying to figure out what someone will do or say. Opinions are more of a 1 perspective thing instead of a whole group, but brawl is a group event. That's why I didn't understand why any opinion, even brawl masters, should matter. That's MY generalized perspective on opinions and that's why I reacted the way I did. For the 3rd time, if this has offended anyone, I'm sorry. I was only trying to voice this without being rude, but appearently failed to do so and thus making a lengthy explanation by being blunt of what I did.
