Brawl #3 - Round 2 voting

Zso_Zso has nothing to apologise for. Every single person votes according to his/her way of view, thus a vote will always be biased. Personal opinion is always biased and there's nothing greatly wrong with that (though I would love seeing more people trying to fight against their bias and favoring a more objective view).

Moreover, many of us don't hesistate to vote our team even if we don't really believe our team's submissions are the best ones.

We don't participate at Forum Brawl in order to win and we shouldn't care about votes. We do it for fun and awesomeness. We have seen many great submissions being axed mercilessly during the voting proccess of the current and previous Brawls as well as witnessing poor submissions making it on top.

However, even the poorest Brawl submission is awesome in its own way and that's one of F.Brawl's most awesome aspects!

If we wish unbiased voting we wish a perfection we can only partially achieve by doing a couple of changes at the voting system which I may bother mentioning at the end of FBrawl in the appropriate thread, but not here, not now...

So, stop caring about silly stuff and have fun!!!

It's my responsibility as Brawlmaster to ensure that fun by making rules and decisions that support fairness to further that fun. The current voting system is designed to minimize bias by making teams voting for themselves essentially nixing each other. While some minor biases may exist, voting for a team purely for the team name, especially when not a member of the team, is appalling to me. It's unsportsmanly, it's unintelligent, and while there are currently no rules against it, I am very disappointed by it. It's like voting Republican or Democrat rather than for a person. This is supposed to be fun, and biased voting with no consideration for the actual tasks is unfair and unfun.

Krzy, I'm not saying you and your team mates can't wish to have a connection to the the element light. I'm saying your Brawl team has no connection to the Light trials, Light team in war, nor Light in guilds if guilds were still active. Because ONLY ONE master volunteered for Brawl, I cut the connection for at least this Brawl, hence why team names are more important than elements.

 Unfortunately, this is not up to us, not up to you, not up to the Brawlmasters. It is up to each individual. Even the most biased vote can be cleverly cloaked under a few neat phrases explaining that decision.
 But we're off-topic. I am going to discuss about voting system in the appropriate thread, follow me there if you wish.

I will not follow you, I simply wanted to say that voting for us just beacause we are light and not because we did a great job is actually not very fun in my opinion. While I cannot say for sure that this is what Zso did, I just wanted to express my opinion on this.

No-one but Zso can, and it would be immensely rich to have some feedback along with his vote. This goes for everybody, the more you express your likes and dislikes, the better for all us brawlers.
As our fellow from Silver Ferns wrote: every opinion is biased, from its very conception. It's up to the voters to base their choices on something meaningful for us. But most importantly...

Simple and straight to the point is good. I think there is something else about your submission that you are overlooking.
