Brawl #2 Suggestions and Feedback

I respect the opinions of those who stand highly in their respective areas. But I definitely feel like bonus points each round should not be a thing.
Or at the very least lessen the impact - maybe 1 point per category per round.
For instance - take a look at time: I've got tons of respect for them and congratulate them on doing so well - but look at how a majority of the bonuses points went to them - that made a HUGE difference.

I guess I feel this should be more community driven rather than "expert" driven.

I feel this is a result of Community points increasing over time but Expert Points being a flat 2 per expert. Maybe have 1 point per expert in the first half and 2 points per expert in the second half. Or some similar scaling such that the significance of the round stays balanced between the sources.

This is generally where I was aiming.
I know that the new way the point system works is going to make things very different, but for the first few rounds - that is a huge amount of points to be handing out.

If anything, I'd like a larger period for submitting ideas.  For example, allowing submissions to be submitted within 6 hours of the end of the round.  Maybe with a penalty for every off points gained for every hour passed or something.

Also, with combo tasks, I've found it troublesome to coordinate with the other member.  Or three.  That being said, I feel combo tasks shouldn't be more two members for one week.  If it does exceed two members for a single task, maybe at least give a bit more leeway for the submission of the task?  Perhaps one not unlike the one suggested above?

I'll just leave this here: I went into Brawl initially expecting to only have to hand out points for the art. Since I'm the only 'panel' member, though, that would've given Brawl too much of an artist bias, so I ended up voting for my favorites in all categories. I don't claim to know anything about these parts of Brawl. :x

It might be nice to have 1 panel member per section. That way we can continue to have a great artist judge the art and have the other sections also receive expert judges.

However this is easier in some sections (Deckbuilding, Art, Card Design) than others.

That Combo Task is basically impossible to vote for. :/

On the other hand, the weight of the votes are increased 4-fold ! The individual task has a 2-point difference between best and 2nd best in the scoring, the 4xcombo task has suddenly 8-point difference. The combo tasks are neat idea to encourage team-work, but they should be still voted on separately aspect-by-aspect.

Brawl needs more advertising or some other way to attract voters. In 2nd round FE+OT combo had only 43 votes total. Considering that there are 36 players involved, 2 brawlmasters and a judge, that's a total of 39 participants in the event who probably all vote, so only 4 random forum reader (who is not in Brawl) voted ? 

E.g. instead of still attracting readers to the Birthday thread long after the cake is gone (and would have gone bad otherwise), the home-page flashy link could point to the Brawl voting thread each week...

@andre, Both GuildMasters are in Brawl.

@Nae, request it from the admins to advertise Brawl voting in the ticker at the top of the forums.
