Brawl #2 - Round 6 [Voting Phase]

Well, I didn't removed any of my votes. But hey, I guess this is a competition based in merit, right? Right?

I put a lot of effort into that little movie this last round and thought it was funny and felt satisfied with it. Then I saw the work of andretimpa from Expensive Clocks and I knew immediately, that I have no chance of winning the round. The amount of work that went into that movie and website is just amazing and it was very nice and well done. Congratulations !

But now, seeing the results of the vote and seeing that the short text story of the Crusaderps got 4 more votes than that nice movie + website from Expensive Clocks has completely erased any doubt I may have had about the voting system. Sorry, but this is as far from merit based voting as possible. I mean no disrespect to the Crusaderps OT, but clearly this voting is a joke.

From now on, I will just stick to PVP events. Looks like this community isn't mature enough for voting based competitions.

You were a formidable opponent, Zso. I was impressed after you said you had never done videos before. Your submissions were in my opinion funnier than mine, so I had to push it in the technical aspect of the submissions to compensate. After seeing the OT submissions this round I really thought it would go like
Time > Water > Fire > Darkness and Light > Entropy

Not gonna lie, I'm glad with the result (since I did well), but I don't think I deserved it.  I kinda gave up on brawl like 3-ish rounds ago, since inactive team, and got preoccupied with other things.  My prep for this round was to google what made a successful movie pitch, and then write a little bit, hoping it didn't suck too bad.  I probably spent half an hour tops on it.  I feel like I put very little work in compared to everybody else :F.

I am glad my team won Brawl, but do we really had to go through all this ridiculous "axing" of Expensive Clocks? I mean, before Round 6 results were revealed, I didn't took seriously any of Naesala's complains about last-minute vote changes, but now I can see a direct support of my team (Team Fire) and direct hatred towards Expensive Clocks (Team Time). Don't tell me you took seriously all those comments of Expensive Clocks' submission about Opsinis being a cruel boss of intimidating his team members, did you?

Truth is, only Abstract or Expensive Clocks should have won the Bonus Task (of course, no offence to our awesome artist and congratz to TheManuz) but it seemed more like a strategic voting rather than a honest one.
Also, too many votes for Crusaderps this round and it is strange (I am NOT saying they don't deserve it, Team Light was one of the underestimated teams this Brawl and their Card Designer did a superb job last round), since almost no one supported Team Light for the rest of Brawl.

Congratz to Expensive Clocks for always pushing us forward, to Surf Ninjas for being powerful and unpredictable (especially Zso-Zso, maybe the most skilled member of this Brawl ), Entropony Cowboys for making the funniest submissions (I will always remember to stomp any bugs I may find while playing EtG from now on), Crusaderps for having great yet underestimated submissions and Abstract for their cute ideas and great art.

May unfair votes don't prevent us from participating at Forum Brawl #3.

Can't tell if I actually won a round or people accidentally voted for the wrong idea.

When I look at the votes, I don't look at how many I didn't get, I look at how many I did get. So I'm just happy that 4 people voted for me even though over 20 others voted for a different team. Just like when an add says 9 out of 10 people chose this brand. That 1 out of 10 must be using a damn good brand then.

They will.  Either the voting system will change, or Pella will not participate.  Pella may not participate, regardless.
I would be willing to take on a critiquing role for Writers, similar to what vrt did for Artists.  I seriously doubt I will enter this competition again.  No offence to our mega-super-awesome Brawlmasters, who both get +rep for putting up with all the shenanigans.
