As a chemist, most of the card designer submissions make me wince. Some fit well with the names but not with the physical concepts those names describe.

It was a tough challenge. Especially since some do not know much about entropy. However that was the challenge.

I would especially like it if someone would turn this in a learning moment.

At the very least googling the name of a card before you (not you specifically; just using it as a pronoun) submit it would have helped. For that matter, reading just the first paragraph of the Wikipedia page on entropy would have been a big prod to a certain two teams (no names given).

Day 35: We are in second place now. Still, it's weird that we keep getting bonus points in odd tasks. From what I gather, at least one of my teammates is sleeping with someone on the experts panel.

Our card started out as the Arrow of Time, and then we decided we couldn't have just an arrow, and it should be a bow, and then the card just kind of took on a life on its own...

I was the one who did the card, and I am 14. I got the idea from glancing at the wikipedia page and taking the only thing that made sense. It wasn't that hard.

I never said it was difficult or that there weren't ways to figure it out.
I'm just expressing my feelings that you shouldn't expect something that is accurate to a point in regards to the given topic.
In fact, it was left entirely up to interpretation - you could literally make just about anything.

maybe it is better if each teams tell what principles of entropy they take from. My team private chat has a list of it before we decided to take one and do. not to mention some of us have left physics for a long time. Make us have to look again....

just wondering what principles are other teams using.

Duuude noo! I specifically avoided names to respect their privacy!! XD

Note: the physicist and the chemical engineer in our team say they didn't know the CD task required such degree of scientific rigour. Having said that, I think our card fits the theme. The bow is used as an ingame vehicle for the concept of thermodynamical Arrow of time, which is directly related to the second law of Thermodinamics. That law says that entropy never decreases on a given isolated system. We interpreted the "strange happenings" as a greater state of entropy compared to the initial, more ordered state of the target (while keeping it consistent with the  element mechanics).
