Just a helpful tip:

If you want to create a "neat deck image" for your C-C-C-Combo submission but you don't know how, then you may actually find the following link quite an interesting one.

I'm just wondering, do you find the results anything close? I don't.

The fonts are different. It's also not that hard to make the deck picture using photoshop or gimp.

It doesn't matter, the difference compared to other teams earns my vote

Please don't tell me you voted based on the way the deck looks pretty rather than actual deck composition.

to be fair, it is a combo task where one of the combo parts is art.

You judge the art portion as art - do not judge a deck based on its appearance. I don;t care how pretty it looks if it doesn't function.

Having had made the art for the deck, I still agree with Anarook on this.
Do however, take into consideration the task as whole, not as individual pieces, please.

^^This.  It's a complete package, assembled by 4 people, and probably with help from even more.  Don't throw away the whole hamburger just because you don't like the lettuce that's on it.

"Well, I don't really like that aspect of that submission.  Let's look at the rest of it now."
"Okay, I've narrowed my choices down to two.  I don't like aspect A of submission 1, and I don't like aspect B of submission 2.  I value aspect <?> more than the other, so that's the way I'll vote."

Ignoring the work of three people because you aren't fond of the work of one person isn't fair to the other three people.  I have voted for things where I liked most, but not all, aspects of them, simply because they were my favourites overall.

That's all we're asking people to do:  Evaluate the entire hamburger.

FTR, I'm mostly vegetarian.  The only meat I eat is seafood.  The hamburger was the best analogy that popped into my head at that moment.
