Glenfoo: he was saying that he didn't like that the artist wasn't cited or given credit but, as Zso_Zso pointed out, they did actually state where all the art came from. It really isn't a big deal now. Just a misunderstanding.

They linked to an article that contained it. Both copyright law and decent manners state that it has to be mentioned on the actual page (as such, in the actual article). The reason I commented on this exclusively is because I don't feel qualified to give in-depth feedback on any other part of any submission for this task; but I'm pretty familiar with image copyright, as one might imagine.

Finally had time to thoroughly go through all submissions.

Team Fire, I am deeply disappointed with your lack of attribution for the amount of artwork you used in the OTer task.

you know... those two above meant an entirely different thing.. you cannot blame me if I really misunderstand. and if u can notice, I am trying to be really careful with what I say and be as respectful as possible? because you only mention about my team, and others do the same thing for their submission too.

Posting a hyperlinking on the internet gets the job done. They already did a lot of work and did state where they got it. They may not have time to list the artist under every single image but they do have a link that credits them. Considering they aren't submitting this for money, only for fun, they shouldn't be scolded for it. I believe what they did was perfectly fine. And remember: this is all in good fun.

Furthermore (and no offence to the rest of the participants) I would really like to see links leading to rulesets of the original board game versions of their forum-adapted counterparts. I would like to compare the efforts done here too...

I'm happy to oblige. We have based our submission on the base idea of the Risk board game, for which the original rule-set can be found in the following PDF:

Please, note we have not copied any art or rule word-by-word from the original. Instead, we have redefined the battle mechanics, defined a totally different type of map, introduced Elements creatures and mechanisms (creatures, quanta generation and spells) and defined rules that merge ideas from Risk, Elements and playable on a forum. Our submission was entirely our original creative work and such does not violate any Copyrights. If Hasbro had patents (very general ones) on a game played with units on a map that is based on conquest of territories we might infringe that, but that would indeed be necessary to comply with the task of adapting a board game to the forums.

He did not post the way he did to disrespect the artists. As you saw, he already point that out. I do care about respecting artists because I am one. No one is disrespecting artists.
I don't know where you see disrespect for artists, because, since I've been on, I've received nothing but praise for my artwork for the forum and see other artists receive the same.
It appears as though people love artists on this site.

Edit: I've also seen that people hold you in such high regard which wouldn't happen if they were disrespecting you.

@vrt: Since non of this is profittable, I think you are baing too hard with the formality about the art credits. He said and linked where he took the art from in the beginning of his submission, it's not neccesary to repeat it under every single image.

We all respect the artists we have, so we do with the sites we use as sources. If there is a place where the source must be cited and it isn't, there is always a card  curator, admin, you or anyone that notices it and it is corrected as soon it's seen.
Just don't be too exquisite when the source is atually cited (and doesn't say "google")

He is right at this, not sure if images are copyrighted or not, but it looks like they are.
Also, I see you are taking some things as not important at all, even though they are, first, you allow a 200+ words description when the rules clearly says less than 100(I'm not sure how you see it, but I see it as an obvious disadvantage for the other teams) and then you say people should not complain(especially because vrt knows this stuff very well) when someone doesn't give proper credit.

The forum does not disrespect resident artists. However members new to the Card Idea and Art section are know to use art without the artists permission or crediting the artist.

Vrt mistakenly though AllCaps made the same mistake.
For which we should be sad Vrt made a mistake but grateful that Vrt cares enough to try to promote crediting artists.
