wait a minute. OT and forum expert are combo task.
I look at all the submission on the combo task, and I do not even see artwork in other teams. why are you so deeply disappointed with with the lack of attribution of the amount of artwork arthanasios and dracomageat used in Oter and forum expert task. you did not comment on other teams combo task, but commentted arthanasios and dracomageat work directly on the artwork, yet I do not see much artwork in other teams at all. I am not aware this task needs that many art you know.

I am not saying you are bias, please do not get me wrong. you are an expert, but if you comment directly on the combo task like that, without commenting on other combo task as well, it just .... to me seems unfair.. at least they put pictures and card pictures  of creatures and stuff to illustrate the feel, not to mention the catacombs, the title of the task itself.

I respected your suggestions and feedback a lot on artist task , but with that short comment on the combo task alone, as an expert,  the voters may be influenced. if this is not a competition I will not take it that hard, but this is a competition. they took the whole week to do that, and if they ask the help of our artist, themanuz for every single art there we may even need 3 months, but we only have 1 week.

please forgive me if I look rude or anything, but to me, you are complaning on the dark spot in a big piece of cloth, and did not even discuss on the pattern in the other cloth right in front of you. I never do much commenting, but as a boss I felt obliged to defend their work at least.

This is a forum-remake of the famous (and infamous in terms of difficulty) board game known as Dungeon Quest. The remake was based on the latest edition of the board game and its ruleset can be found here (the link may be somewhat 'heavy' for slower machines). All the pictures used here were taken from that link.

* There are not any real cards, tokens or dice in the forum version. Moreover, percentage chances and random number generator programs must be used in order to determine certain effects. That also means there is no actual deck size; every deck (Dungeon deck, Crypt deck, Trap deck etc.) is supposed to has an infinite amount of cards within it.
* There are no Combat or Power cards (combat has greatly been changed) but there are Weapon and Shield Loot cards with special abilities.
* There are no pre-build Heroes; any participants of this forum game have to follow the Character Creation steps.
* The gaming board is made via elemental/emoticon icons and/or digits/letters and it is smaller than the boards of the board game version.

If you download the 32 page PDF linked, you can find all the artwork, images and rules in that source material from which most of the submission was copy-pasted.
The spoiler of the above quote contains the list of things that were changed by the authors of the submission compared to the source material, i.e. what was their work as opposed to what was copied. I understand that in such huge amount of text it is easy to miss a one-word hyperlink and assume that they wrote all that stuff and draw the images -- so it is important to note the difference for all voters.  ;)

They linked to an article that contained it. Both copyright law and decent manners state that it has to be mentioned on the actual page (as such, in the actual article). The reason I commented on this exclusively is because I don't feel qualified to give in-depth feedback on any other part of any submission for this task; but I'm pretty familiar with image copyright, as one might imagine.

Posting a hyperlinking on the internet gets the job done. They already did a lot of work and did state where they got it. They may not have time to list the artist under every single image but they do have a link that credits them. Considering they aren't submitting this for money, only for fun, they shouldn't be scolded for it. I believe what they did was perfectly fine. And remember: this is all in good fun.

Furthermore, I apologize for breaking any copyrighting rules; I thought I was clear enough at the very first paragraph of my submission and I thought, since it is the first paragraph, it would be read by anyone. About copy/pasting a lot of stuff in general, of course I did, it was supposed to be a forum game adapted from a board game or card game. Furthermore, it needed to keep as much of its original rules as possible but to be also playable at the forums. We did our best to satisfy both of these by using (or copy/pasting if you prefer) the bigest part of the rules, but also changing/removing or introducing any new rules when the circumstances demanded it (and these circumstances proved to be more frequent than we thought). If you think it is easy to investigate such a big amount of rules and to actually make a game like DungeonQuest playable at the forums (and our game IS actually playable at the forums, we put a lot of effort in this) in less than a week, with all the respect in the world, try it yourselves.

Furthermore (and no offence to the rest of the participants) I would really like to see links leading to rulesets of the original board game versions of their forum-adapted counterparts. I would like to compare the efforts done here too... :)
