interesting..... i am going for the deck builder.... i have been playing elements for a year already but i just recently registered in the forum.... it is nice to see this change( battle without pvp) ..... but i guess i will need a lot of luck to be selected since i am so new in the forum.... looking forward for this...

Besides the artist role, another thing people are concerned about is the scoring system. Here's what I think about it.

1) The community vote. This needs to be restricted somehow to people outside the event, otherwise everyone will just vote for themselves, or restricted to people inside the event, with every team getting their own poll in a secret section that does not included their team as an option for voting. Additionally, these two systems could be run alongside each other, to include the most people possible while making it significantly more unbiased.

I also think the numbers should be tweaked slightly, to a points sequence of 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0. This makes the first points values more linear as opposed to more curved.

2) The expert panel. As it stands, this has four people, plus Zanz if for some reason he were inclined to vote, as technically he is an admin. I'm not sure if there's an event-based reason to change this, only how much our admins want to be involved.

About point 1: If everyone in the event votes for themselves, then it is the same as if they hadn't voted. We definitely won't restrict the vote to those inside, as we want this to be an open, fun, and relaxing event rather than a stressful one, and it should be one the whole forum can enjoy. We might try the secret polls for those on the inside though, thanks for that.
We are currently tweaking the rules, thanks for your input on the scoring, I'll talk it over with UT

About point 2: I doubt zanz will care to get involved, but if he does then it's fine by me. Again, tweaking some, I think since we now have more admins, there will be less points awarded for the favorite of each admin and Brawlmaster, probably 2 instead of 3.
