More integrated approach could be done. For example, off-topicker helping off-topic discussion in its board, deckbuilder helping in deck help board, etc.

At first I thought it's about forum formatting, but it's not. Also, it's forum expert, not wiki expert. Wiki formatting is very different from forum one. nvm, I reread the rules. Still, it's a nonindicative name. Please change the role name.

Participant can't prefer any team
Not that i'm complaining, not when I got half former Team Darkness here and the other half respectable members. As of now, the team is decided solely by the boss. It would be nice if members could pick a favorite team to be put in, and is counted into consideration when assembling teams.

I think rulings should've been a bit stricter, as it was many of the topics were too broad, not always a bad thing but it makes it largely difficult to make fair comparisons amongst submissions.

For off topicker, each task so far has been a 500 word essay, and although each one has a different topic it feels like they aren't varied enough. I came into this thinking I would be debating philosophy or explaining my views on politics, not writing essays.

1) How could one interact with these various boards yet reamin anonymous? How could one make 6 rounds out of helping these boards? And this is a competition, not just a group effort just to improve the forum.

2) Forum Expert is about the various parts of the forum that exist to help players understand the game and enjoy the game. Future rounds should make this more clear

3) Here's the problem: We have to A)Make sure we had enough event players to run the event B)Make sure everyone had a role they liked C) Make sure bosses could select preferred players and then with your addition, try to further influence the bosses and the selection with favored teams. On top of this, we have to include some RNG for fairness so no one team gets all the best players. Team selection has so far been the most difficult thing UT and I had to do. Perhaps Brawl 2 will have a smoother system that can accommodate teams. If not, players can talk to bosses and request being high on one persons list and low on others.

We shall try in the future. I favor broad to strict to allow more creativity.

The easiest way that I can think of is using a different forum or chatroom to host the events, but it would really be going out of our way.

What I think we should do is get as many people involved and worked up about this so we have a large enough voter base that bias due to a lack of anonymousity will be insignificant. That is, unless there is another reason we are anonymous.

No offence, but the whole anonymous thing is a joke. Everyone knows which art is submitted by vrt and the style of several other submissions show who their creator is (forum expert #5, for example, I am 95% sure it is Kuroaitou's one). Furthermore, in Pandemonium poem RootRanger made the mistake to write "hi Root" in his poem, revealing it was his work. Finally, I made the mistake of putting credits in Grey Crusader, which shows it was our team's job. I don't think it that anonymous things offers anything at all, my humble opinion...

To be honest, I somehow missed root's mentioning of himself (blame college). In all reality, he should have been disqualified for that.

We choose to make voting anonymous to reduce bias. We may change it in Brawl 2, I dont know.

Yeah...that would be a ton of work for a slight increase in the quality. Probably not going to happen.

As for "hype this to get more people involved" I tried, UT tried, I hoped those who signed up would try. We just had enough for 6 teams. I would have LOVED all 12 elements to be represented.

Consider advertising more in the related areas of the forum. Mention it offhand in the competition section threads. If competitive card designers thought of it as a card design competition then there would be good supply for that role.

However I think 6 teams shows the success of the advertisement conducted. I would suspect a full 12 teams by the 3rd Brawl.
