Pella 3:0 ddevans96 ... This I did not expect.  Going against a team captain for the second week in a row, I expected the match to.... well, to be different.

Duel #1 (WIN):  Cock-Frog Rush

Deck import code : [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 7ac 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7bu 8pn

I had a really good draw.  Evans had an average draw.  Outrushed his Grabbow without trouble.

Duel #2 (WIN):  Water-Light Stall

Deck import code : [Select]
5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5ia 5ia 5ia 5ia 5ia 5ia 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 7gp 7gp 7gp 7gp 7gp 7k2 7k2 7k2 7k2 7k2 7la 7la 7la 7la 8pp

My duel-predicting circuits told me to bring a stall.  I really had no idea what Evans would bring, but I somehow guessed that a stall would handle it.
His Psions went around my Permafrost Shield, but my Purifies and Miracles made sure that didn't matter.  Win by deckout.

Duel #3 (WIN):  Mono-Death Rush
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]

Evans mindgated me almost perfectly.  He predicted I'd bring mono-Death with Bone Walls.  He brought Chargers, Fire Eaters, Rain of Fire--and no :fire.  He accidentally brought Mark of Gravity to go with his Gravy Pends.  My Recluses and Dragons plowed through his HP unhindered.  Both of us would have preferred a more challenging duel.

ddevans96, you played well.  Kudos for the mindgate on #3.  I look forward to meeting you in battle again.

Ok deck time this was one of the best matches I have had for a long time we traded blows with each other perfectly unfortunately smith got the knockout punch :P

I felt this was the strongest deck we drafted and it didn't disappoint, even with a decent quanta draw smith would have lost mummies got nothing on wings and i got a fast starting hand.

game 2 lost

I was expecting the stall right from the beginning hence why I used all our pc with our last pc I finally got the deck I was waiting not that it mattered eternity and creatures>deckout stall and the one diss smith played I subsequently butter scarabbed it no competition smith gave me the game.

Smith was waiting for the fire mark I played it last game I felt this matchup was 50/50 however smith got the perfect draw I got three nymphs, two spirits and four drags in first 12-15 cards meanwhile he got an elite queen and 4 ugs still I managed to only lose by a turn.

and btw blacksmith it is treebeard not treebard :P

love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.

Fun match ji - thanks a bunch for accomadating my availability and short notice.

I posted on sign-up thread to fill need for sub for vagman but heard back nothing from you.  ji and I agreed to play since there was no obvious reason my sign-up post would not count.

Played 10 turns and got to play one Pharaoh - mostly because I drew only one Pharaoh in that time.  I was worried about this deck from ji particularly at some point - it got me.

I drew lots of quanta (7 of 7 opening hand) and ji drew very little quanta.  I top-decked damage which makes quanta flood useful.  Almost didn't get enough damage through but wasn't all that close.  ji's draw was that bad, I'd say.
rob77dp 1 - 1 ji412jo

Game 3 WIN

Good opening hand - once I top-decked an early-ish Eternity.  Knowing ji was Fire-Water a few turns in I knew no PC (Deflag not in his team's cardset) so getting Eternity down was very key.  Also, the dragons early put pressure on to use quanta for either CC _or_ his own attack means and not both.

Finally opposed the Dim deck I was expecting game 1 or 2 (hence the PC decks in those games by me).  Had no chance other than if ji bottom-decked Dim's like a boss - he did not.  ji won.
rob77dp 2 - 2 ji412jo

I was suspicious going in to this that ji had no solid CC (other than Pande) or good shield (Dim) left so super-rush with a decent draw for me made it fairly simple.  Go go Trio!!
:)
rob77dp 3 - 2 ji412jo

So i go to sleep, because its 2 am here.
Thanks Blaze for good matches, but we lost...both of us.
Cant say ,,good games,,...but whatever.
At least you could find substitution,as for this match, same for round 1.

rob77dp:  3
ji412jo:  2

Spoiler for Hidden:
Fun match ji - thanks a bunch for accomadating my availability and short notice.

***majofa***
I posted on sign-up thread to fill need for sub for vagman but heard back nothing from you.  ji and I agreed to play since there was no obvious reason my sign-up post would not count.

Game 1 LOSS

Played 10 turns and got to play one Pharaoh - mostly because I drew only one Pharaoh in that time.  I was worried about this deck from ji particularly at some point - it got me.
rob77dp 0 - 1 ji412jo

Game 2 WIN
Spoiler for Pulvy Riding:

I drew lots of quanta (7 of 7 opening hand) and ji drew very little quanta.  I top-decked damage which makes quanta flood useful.  Almost didn't get enough damage through but wasn't all that close.  ji's draw was that bad, I'd say.
rob77dp 1 - 1 ji412jo

Game 3 WIN
Spoiler for Airborne Eternity:

Good opening hand - once I top-decked an early-ish Eternity.  Knowing ji was Fire-Water a few turns in I knew no PC (Deflag not in his team's cardset) so getting Eternity down was very key.  Also, the dragons early put pressure on to use quanta for either CC _or_ his own attack means and not both.
rob77dp 2 - 1 ji412jo

Game 4 LOSS
Spoiler for Mono Air:

Finally opposed the Dim deck I was expecting game 1 or 2 (hence the PC decks in those games by me).  Had no chance other than if ji bottom-decked Dim's like a boss - he did not.  ji won.
rob77dp 2 - 2 ji412jo

Game 5 WIN
Spoiler for Adrena-flies:

I was suspicious going in to this that ji had no solid CC (other than Pande) or good shield (Dim) left so super-rush with a decent draw for me made it fairly simple.  Go go Trio!!
:)
rob77dp 3 - 2 ji412jo

****late edit/addition:  Also, I have video of these matches if anyone is interested.  I'll keep them for a while but probably delete them once event is over (if I don't forget about them by then).****
No Bad, Congrats Rob, I plan to go back when my parasite disappears.
also in the two last round I had trouble finding my opponents
this last I gave a free win for Annele.

I will not get more desperate to find my opponent,
find me in chat I get a good time there, unless you not want to challenge me in time chat valid then win your free win.
Brawl - 4 :fire Red Stars
The luck is much Greater, when there effort and patience.

Spielkind 3 - Terroking 0

Round 1:

Thought this was a very good matchup for me, as I could easily CC his nymphs and build up damage, but both my Squids and Pends were lying at the bottom of my deck, allowing him to both take the pressure off him with his Nymphs, and build up quanta since I couldn't produce any :fire

Round 2:

Again, thought this was a pretty good matchup provided I could get an Anubis or Nymph immortalized quickly. I didn't draw an HG until pretty late but it got me started, but he managed to draw 5 Silences in his top half to kill me (Though I had lethal if he missed for a turn)

My internet committed suicide after the second match, although I think I would have won the third by playing:
