Booster Draft 1 - Battles - Finals
Round has ended.
The Semifanals are over and the final battle is upon us. Team C has emerged as the winning team.  Now all that is left is to play for the first Booster Draft icon!  Best of luck to both competitors.

We have one epic battle this round:
1. kirchj33 vs. majofa

As a reminder, here are deckbuilding and battle rules:

DECKBUILDING
After card drafting, teams will have up to 24 different cards depending on how many Relics they aquired. Teams can use any number of these cards in their decks, while other teams cannot use those cards at all. Marks, Pillars and Pendulums (from any element) are free to use without any limitations. For each Relic your team has, all your team members can use one upgraded card during duels.

BATTLES
- Each round of battles lasts for 4 days.
- If the fight doesn't happen, we flip a coin, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time
- Battles are best-of-5. Player who first wins 3 duels, wins the battle
- You are allowed to switch decks and mark between rounds.

AFTER BATTLES
- Both winner and loser must provide their decklist in the battle result section (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,417.0.html). A short matchup review / play-by-play is recommended but not necessary.
- If you lose a battle, you are eliminated from the event, but are encouraged to help your team to win (remember, winning team gets added to the hall-of-fame)
- When all 4 players have lost, the whole team is eliminated from the event.

To preserve their value, amount of icons is limited to one per event. Sometimes it would be cool to have more, but unfortunately that is not an option.

Looks like we might need a short extension.  Shouldn't be a big deal since theres only two of us I hope.  We had the chat debacle where I couldn't figure out how to get in chat for 24 hours.  I haven't seen majofa for the past 2 days except he popped in and out quickly to play the Eastern.

TPvP is the lone exception since it has always given out 3 icons to the winning team.  The one per event is a more recent guideline that applies to all new events, and the only older event with multiple icons was TPvP so it will be the lone exception.

1st game:
majofa drew 1 pillar.... gg.

2nd game:
fairly close but a cointoss wins it for me.

3rd game:
I lose cointoss but early eternity vs. no eternity wins damage race.

This match was a win/win for me as majofa was a deserving champion considering he was team leader and drafted our cards.  Good (boring) games maj.  I'm grateful to have my first forum icon.

I never agreed with us having to fight... so I never even bothered to build any decks... since it was just gonna be GotP/Graboid mirror matches...

We already won this event. The finals were just to see who gets to represent the team.   [so kirchj33 don't disappoint us ]

Was a fun event... but there needs to be some kind of different format for when teammates face each other....

(also I'm glad I got 2 of my top 4 picks )
