War #8 - Applications

If you wish to be drafted in War, you need to apply by making a topic with your name and banned elements as title in this subboard.

Applications must include your in-game name which will be used for all matches, even if it is the same as your forum name. Besides that you may list up to 3 bans for teams you refuse to be drafted by. You may rank any number of favorite elements to determine bidding tiebreaks (otherwise the tiebreak is a coinflip).

You'll probably want to include information like nymph counts, timezone, upgraded card pool, past war experience, etc. Sharing card pool is easy through this cardpool tracking tool.

I do believe that you should post your nymph count since otherwise this will be hard to know.
"Note that a substitute may not use ANY cards the player they are replacing does not have." ( war 8# rules, 3.4 inactive player, bottom line )

the rules say explicitely that you cannot change your bans and/or favorite list.
Although it doesn't say anything about it,
it implies that you can change the rest.

Because they can't see exactly what you edited. You would better reply to it than edit.

People getting picked by an element that they don't want to join and then editing their topic to act as if they had that element banned the entire time would be one major reason.

Last war the WMs recorded what all the bans/preferred elements were once the auction countdown had ended. I'd assume the same has happened this war.
