War #12 - Applications

If you wish to be in a team in War, you need to apply by making a topic with your name and banned elements as title in this subboard.


Please be sure to read The Rules carefully before applying.


Applications must include your in-game name which will be used for all matches, even if it is the same as your forum name. Besides that you may list up to 3 bans for teams you refuse to be bid by. Each ban increases the minimum bid allowed on you. You may choose 3 favorite elements and rank them.


You'll probably want to include information like nymph counts, timezone, upgraded card pool, past war experience, etc. Sharing card pool is easy through this cardpool tracking tool. It would also be a good idea to include if you are proficient with Google Docs.

You can check out this example application to gt an idea about what an application might look like. Be sure to highlight your card collection/electrum and more importantly your willingness to learn, readiness to work hard and passion for the event in your application.

There’s something special about joining a team’s corps
War with a team can build an incredible rapport
And the energy you pore adds to an incredible lore

Hey!  Do you live in Baltimore? Ecuador? or Singapore?
If so, you all might just end up on a team in this war.
Help lead  's honey chargers like an artful matador.
Join  to give your opponents’ a tumor
Don’t feel sore cuz with Team  you can soar
Love rainbows?    has them galore.
Dive with Team  far from the shore.
Shake the with your funk out on the dance floor.
What about team  ? You could help make it four.
Maybe team  ?  Spam them miracles for a full health restore.
Or maybe you like Team  .  So hot you can hear the flames roar.
Don’t cloak your feelings if it’s  you adore.
Perhaps you want to be  -less just like the dinosaur!
Or do it with team  .  This war may simply be an encore.

Just a reminder to anyone who is still interested in joining war, you may apply as a substitute. Some teams may have a player going inactive and need a replacement, or some may not have gotten a full team and just need an extra body to help out. It is still early enough you can get a mostlyfull war experience.

If you are interested, please let the WMs know (myself and asdw152), and we will pass on a list of available substitutes to all the Generals.
