Hello. My name is Phaedrus. I’m well aware that I’m lacking a bit in rares, that my score is low, and that I don’t have much money. However, I’m not nearly as big of a noob as this makes me look. I’ve been playing this game for most of two years, but until recently with a lack of awareness of trainer , impatience when it comes to grinding gods, and a habit of conducting costly experiments with new decks. Today, I’m an under the radar player who is stoked to spend hours testing decks in trainer, just starting to play tournaments and get involved in the pvp community. I think I’m worth taking a chance on because of my creativity in deck building, my solid experience, and my ability to contribute positive communication in a team setting.

I'm pretty impressed with him considering the cards he has.
He came very close to beating a ridiculously OP deck in a tourney, which noone else managed without using a variant.
Obviously, this can only be taken so far, since you don't get a huge picture from 2 games, but while the stats speak for themselves..., there is some skill to be taken into consideration.

Im curious, can you explain what tourney + what deck?

It was in the "Synergy" tournament.

I don't know how to post decks but basically I was playing a deck based around toadfish, ffq, and forest spirit that used air and life pillars with a water mark. With a good draw and a bit of luck, it could beat the beefed up pulverizer rainbows that the pros were playing because of its strong creature control and rush capabilities. I saw that pretty much everyone would play pulverizer because all the shields were in play and it was the only permanent control (other than trident) available. So I built the best deck I could that didn't rely on a shield.
